There is not an option to click on, so that the msg will not be seen again (win95 and ie4). To the best of my knowledge, I have added every site, there are several, that are accessed in the login process to the trusted zone.
Do you know of any registry keys that I can change manually, for...
Hello All,
Have a problem on a site for kids using AOL's Aim and Bulletin Boards along with web resources accessible through a vb client. Have been working on a problem that reared its head recently, we think from a change in AOL's handling of the signon.
Problem: We are no longer able to...
Guess I should have thought of that :D
No offense intended, I was just trying to check the drive since I thought it could read and write. What kind of drive would be best to read with since I do not have another cdrom at this point?
bonkers325,
I tried to make an image file from the iomega, then record back to it. When I checked the log in clonecd for the image, it was sector after sector that it couldn't read. Any suggestions?
My other cd is almost dead, it can't do much of anything so I need to work from an image...
Well their interface is a little weak, but I like the fact that they new I was a new user and kept track of me on the site, automatically offering me the coupon at checkout. My merchandise totaled $23, after tax and shipping it worked out to ~7.25.
Will see if I have the problem others have had...
Maybe I am new around here or just a little old fashioned (maybe both) but I though the point of this forum was to use the system legitimatly, not to defraud establishments?
To test the capabilities of my drive I tried reading red alert 2 for an image, no go. Either someone was mistaken, or the drive I have is different. While this was disappointing, I am still happy with my drive since it does what I wanted it to anyway, but it's always nice to have the most...
golem,
does this mean that in order to backup a disc I can image the disk first using a cdrom that will read subchannels etc, and then write the whole thing to the burner?
Then I was wrong, I thought that some games and other types of software were recording some of the info on sub-channels which would make it difficult to backup the disk (for example those disks recorded with sd2).
Should I/could I get a firmware update that will help make the drive more versatile?
bonkers325,
Just wanted to check with you on this one. From the thread you have the iomega 8x4x32 as well. I tried reading subchannels with it and was unable to do so. Have you done any firmware or other update to the drive?
thanks for the help!:D
OK I could use a little help here. I got the burner everything went smoothley. Now I was trying to identify the drive and can't find any indication anywhere of its type. How can I figure out who 'really' make the 8x4x32 drive?
Is my logic right on the deal? I ask because I remember seeing somewhere the information that rebates at staples were part of the PM
sciensdiet: edited title, thanks.
UPDATE: See details in my comment below on figuring out drives mnfg.
Hi all,
First attempt at a deal, so if I get this wrong, please let me know....
1) Staples has the 8x4x32 on sale for $149 AFTER $30 rebate Link to Staples
2) Price Match to Iomega's store for $149Link to Iomega's...
