    Definitely recommend a a non-stop flight if you can swing it. If you can't, probably get one with a longer layover than you think is necessary. 30 minutes is too short -- most planes start boarding 30 minutes ahead of takeoff. Nothing wrong with sitting at an airport bar for a drink.
