I had the same basic requirement, I needed a fast detecting sensor in one of my bathrooms. The only system that met that requirement was a Wemo Motion detector paired with Wemo light switch. It works well.

I too have a GE GeoSpring hot water heater (saves me mucho $$$) and would like to see the Wink app provide direct support.
Although the GeoSpring app isn't bad, support by Wink would be nice. Especially since the ACM is branded as Wink compatible.

My Home Depot has all the Wink compatible stuff right up front, across from the customer service desk. It may be to reduce theft, but it's pretty well stocked.

My generation 2 spotter has arrived! And while the spotter UNIQ maybe dead, don't tell the packaging or the inserts. The box it shipped in had UNIQ embossed on the top. The inserts are also labeled UNIQ. This may change but the early production runs...

I just received a confirmation email from Wink that my Gen 2 Spotter shipped! I've been waiting a long time. I also had ordered a Spotter UNIQ but Quirky is not going to be fulfilling any orders for that product, so I was refunded.
