yepp i saw that. 4 weeks ago they released the last bios beta versions. I am still waiting for final bios versions...
... and Anandtech Broadwell Part II
Did someone read the news about Skylake?
Broadwell seems to be in top of the charts in most of the games. Skylake is a little bit better to overclock and a little bit cooler due non-integrated VRMs. Skylake is up to 9% in front of haswell, but haswell has been tested with DDR3-1600 only...
"far" = 5% in front of haswell. Without eDRAM broadwell will be faster.
With broadwell too
We are still waiting for a famous anandtech-broadwell-HTPC Test
At the moment there is a small chance that broadwell will be better than skylake with final bios versions. Broadwell is still alpha...
There is still no review of an retail cpu.
I got the impression that intel got one cpu from one reviewer to another with identical results.
Broadwell´s iGPU is impressive, but a lot of games show some glitches. People say "you can play with Iris Pro games", but its most likely no replacement...
If you want to use Broadwell by using iGPU you would like to set CPU to ~3.0 Ghz and GPU to max. Level.
At the moment there is no max. Level. Sure bclk strap is an option, but a bad one.
Lots of games are playable at 1920x1080. Next time i will try Battlefield 4.
