Sorry, I just looked and the 29160 is about the same price as the Tekram DC-390U3W. The big difference is that the Tekram is a dual channel card while the 29160 is a single channel card. If it turns out that one of my hard drives is a single ended drive and not a LVD then having a dual channel...

Wingnutz, Sweet looking system. Your cards are set up just like mine (I think): AGP video up top, PCI sound in the middle, Network card on the bottom, each with their own IRQ, no sharing. Looks like there is a power connector going to the video card. Is that a 3dfx card? Mark.

This will never be settled! Do you use an all SCSI or all IDE based sytem and why?

WTF Just happened to my PC!!!

Possibly power supply / overheating problem? Check all of your fans to make sure they are clean and running well (video card, ps, cpu). If it continues to happen you may want to try replacing the power supply. Mark.

I don't think the 486SX processors have a fpu. The first floating point units were in 486DX processors. Neither Quake nor Half-life can run on a processor without a floating point unit. I think those brits were full of bs. Really funny article though. Mark.
