Vista Install Issue

Tried these drivers and Vista still only sees one drive in the array. Will this work - I attach a single drive to my system, use that as my boot drive and install vista to that, make an image with true image, then restore that image to my raid0 array and make the array my boot drive again...

That is correct, it saw only one drive in my raid0 array. I will give this a shot, but my board is an nforce3 board, which I failed to mention. But I will see if this works anyway tonight when I get home. Thanks.

I bought Vista home premium to put on my HTPC, but the Nvidia video drivers made me go back to XP on that machine. So I want to load that copy on my main rig. So after backing up all my important data I booted off the dvd to do my fresh install. But I am running a raid0 drive setup and Vista...

IS Israel sending the wrong message?

I blame the Bush andministration, but not for how it is handling it now. It was the Bush camp that time and time again talked Isreal into bending over and taking it. Just give Gaza and all will be fine right? BS! I think Isreal is tired of our ball-less wimp leaders telling them to take it up...

Well that wisdom works in regular poker games, but I plan on dropping into a texas holdem tournament! So you dont have to fold em, you can get a read and bluff. You are supposed to count your money at the table to know where you can push..... lol Anyway..... Sounds like you guys are kinda...

Switched from DSL to cable. Holy *bleep!*

I called my local cable company to switch. I wanted faster upload speed. To get that I had to go to the 8meg plan to get 768 upload, but I am not a cable subscriber so it was going to cost me $75 per month! Sheesh. I called my DSL back and get the 1.5 - 3 plan with a 384-512 upload for $20...

I thought about that for myself, but want to keep costs down. I may also set this same thing up for a friend who is on fiber and does not want to step the price up to get static ip.

I have been using dyndns for a long time, but just opened a no-ip.com account. Looks like they have something called Reflector which will allow me to redirect port 25 requests to any port I want. Well I guess I will build the server and see what happens. Just so I am clear...... I use...

Want to run Small Business Server2003 at home

I am currently using dyndns.org, will I be able to use SBS at home for e-mail and calendaring through OWA? I am just in the planning stages of this. I currently am running a peer to peer with 3 XP Pro clients. I do have Server 2003 as a file server and I have Server 2003 web edition for FTP...

Dennis, I am in kindof the same boat. I have 5 or 6 hospitals that I have secure FTP access with, but it is their servers so I have no idea how it is set up. We now have the need for 3-4 other sites to upload to us and what they are doing right now is using pkzip to zip and enrypt the files then...

Right now we are using Windows server 2003 and set up FTP with IIS. The site is already using WSFTP so I dont want to throw much at them to change.

Why is SETI so powerful?

I am currently doing folding@home for the team, but I crunched seti classic till the end. I would never walk into a TeAm and tell them that one if their projects is less useful. You could make the arguement either way, what if we made contact with other beings that hold the cure to cancer? What...
