Good to know about the Iris garage door controller. You did sell me the Overflows. Thanks again. I'm glad they'll work on ST, though one was slow to trigger when I had an actual leak. Go figure. So maybe it won't be so pricey after all.

Fortunately I don't have a big investment in Trippers (only 5 are connected), so I guess there's no severe financial hit if they don't work well once migrated over. My trouble was that they'd either send a false reading, even with a good battery, or they'd simply fail to send anything at all...

Are the Trippers any more reliable/responsive on ST? Or is the sensor itself crappy?

To be honest, I'm starting to look at other systems. I've been a reasonably happy Wink user for over a year now, and I've upgraded almost all important switches and lights in my house with compatible equipment - Nest thermostat and NestCams, Lutron dimmers and lamp modules, Hue bulbs and...

FYI, my Hues are connected to a Hue hub, which is cloud-connected to the Wink. I think there is (or was) a way to connect the bulbs to the Wink hub directly, though not sure you can any more. And IIRC, it locks you out of ever connecting the bulb to a Hue hub ever again.

Never had a problem with Hue bulbs forgetting their connections. I have 25 of various types (white and color of both new and older generations). I have a couple of Cree that also seem to do well.

I did basically the same. Original Echo in the kitchen (which also covers the adjacent living room) and an Echo Dot each in the master bedroom and the downstairs movie room. Pretty much most of the house is covered with voice control so I can adjust lights or trigger actions (IFTTT) without...

The latest update to the Nest app will also use phone location to turn on/off the "away" mode.

I have 4 NestCams. Good quality, reliable, flexible mounting options (including some 3rd party weatherproof options). I have 3 indoors and one outdoor. Works with Wink. Main drawback is the somewhat expensive cloud recording plans and no option for local recording instead.

I have an older home and at least 50% of my switches don't have neutral wires. The Lutrons work perfectly. That, plus Amazon Echo voice control support make Wink better than ST for me. And should Wink go belly-up, at least I have HomeLink & Siri control of my Lutron switches, dimmers and Hue...

I've replaced some of my three-ways with a Lutron dimmer on one and a Pico remote at the location of what would be the other switch.

You can add a Robot that says "...if no motion after X minutes, turn off light."

Wink app for iOS today added several features including ability to put Hue lights in groups, shortcuts and robots. Hurray! Did the Android app get updated too? I haven't checked my Nexus 7 yet.

I bought two last week for $20 each as well. One is connected under my wife's desk and so far working fine. The switched outlet controls her lamp. Not sure why the bad reviews (though to be honest I haven't read them). Not sure what to do with the other but I'm sure I'll find a use eventually.

I have two Kwikset locks and I can put them in Shortcuts (lock or unlock). Robots, however, cannot unlock the door; only lock. Kwikset 912 lever lock and 914 deadbolt.

That's what I'm doing presently. I'm using a two old, unused iPhone 5's (one iPhone 5 and one iPhone 5C) as controllers on table stands, though the Wink app is surprisingly slow and laggy on them. Wink app works fine on my iPhone 6 and the Nexus 7 in the bedroom so I blame the old phones with...

So very, very tempting. Not sure where'd I'd put it though. I don't have a good place - at least not one that would be spouse-approved.

As of now, it's just basic commands. I have a group called "Outside" so I give exactly your example... "Alexa, turn on the outside lights." Basic, but it works. You can put any lights in to any group you want, and each light can exist in more than one group. I've got groups for individual...

Echo is great for lights. She/it can turn on/off any Wink device and dim Hue bulbs, but would be nice if she could dim anything connected to the Wink. Hoping for Nest thermostat connectivity, too. The Echo app is used to configure rooms, but unfortunately doesn't pull room configuration off the...

Good suggestion thanks. Successfully found two. Now hopefully someone over at Wink makes the executive decision to broaden device support now that it looks like they won't be making their own any more.

Does anyone know what water sensors are confirmed compatible with the Wink? The Overflow is no longer available and no alternatives are listed on the Wink website.
