So did you do this instore or online... I am asking cause it looks like the rebate that is online is only for online purchase. So is there a rebate instore too?
Mindless1,
Thanks for the work you have done on this and for keeping us informed. I would be very interested in one of these if it came with the forceware app. If you find a third party app that works with this please keep us informed. I would want to use this for a htpc and without the...
Wrong..... It comes with all the accessories except the remote.... And I picked up the remote for 14.95 +shipping on ebay. Not a hot deal at $129 though. And the cheapest I can find the x600 AIW is for over $160, and that is without the remote too. Plus the AIW x600 appears to only come in...
Probably because the deal is warm at best... Your "deal of the year" comment got me to look though. I guess it is not bad considering it is without rebate and from newegg.
I got one of these cards too, but have not set it up yet. If you want one of the remotes there is a guy on ebay now selling them with a starting price of 9.95 and a "buy it now" for 14.95, which is a good price for the remote. Shipping is calculated according to where you live. I just bought...
What brand are those $2.00 discs? In my experience you usually get what you pay for unless there is a "special" deal like these Verbatims.... There is a lot of junk media that is fine if you don't mind crappy to nonexistant playback.
But I hope that you are right and production is ramping up.
Where can I buy good quality Verbatim DL Media for $2 a piece. Let us all know so we can buy them. If it is not special show us where. You must know of a source I don't. And this is $1.83 per disc.... Just to be technical :)
I picked up 8 packs of the DL discs at two stores in Frederick MD. Nice find OP. They also had 10 packs of regular 16x dvd+r (MCC 004) for $2.50. Hard to beat that for good quality 16x dvd+rs
I agree that these are awesome drives. I have two in my computer right now. I have used a 3500a also and the 1620 has better quality scans, at least in my experience. I have no experience with the new pioneers, although I have Pioneer A05 (4x dvd-r only) that still burns well. Any review that I...
It is just one that I picked up at home depot. I am not sure if it is the best one or not, but it is what I found and works well enough for me. Tthe brand is Commercial Electric. It replaces your light switch and has a small IR receiver above alarge flat switch. It comes with a small white two...
You mean IR sensor don't you? This doesn't do RF. If you have a remote that controls your computer now I am sure that this would control it. From the setup page, (see below)these are three choices of devices you can program it for. Under each of the 3 different choices there are many different...
I have it also and it is a very nice remote. I found the setup quite easy and it has great signal strength and width which is important for me cause it needs to turn on a few different things in different areas of the room. For example the dvd player receiver and projector to "Watch a DVD". The...
I am in for 3... thanks for the info OP. Shipping for three to MD was $10.27. I have ordered a number of times from Meritline and never had any problems... hope is stays that way.
This was posted before christmas so good luck finding any... but if you do
"The Pacific Digital 8x DVD±RW uses rebadged LiteOn (LDW-851S & LDW-811S), NEC (ND-2500A) (Writes both 8x +/-) and BTC drives.
(Serial numbers starting with a "41 and a letter" are reported to be NEC ND-2500A drives)...
This is an awesome deal. And if someone will send me a scan of the upc I can get it too... I am sure that you can scan just the UPC not including the serial... Thanks got one!
Dan
I was able to pick one up, but it is a display model without the box, so no UPC. Could someone please send me a copy of the upc? I would appreciate it. Private Message me please. Thanks.
Dan
