Why I don't like Windows 10

Asus X99 MB would fry your CPU? is this real!???

If it was that common they would have reproduce the issue in their lab allready, that's when I realized that I still bought an asus board.

thnx for your answer, I did get the Asus x99-a/usb 3.1 I was kinda reluctant with some people having more trouble with Asus board lately but I know a shop nearby that have a deal with asus or something, If I have any issue with Asus product they take them and give me a new one on the spot...

x99 board recommandation for OC

I've read a lot, but I still can't chose. I usually only buy asus board and it's probably why I can't chose a board right now, I have no idea how other brand are reliable/durable. I want it to be future proof, I plan to keep it for 4-5y I want m.2, usb 3.1 is a bonus but I doubt I'll ever...

6700K or 5820K?

Depend on the case/air flow, heatsink and room temp... You should be able to get at least 4.0 from what I've read, on a normal setup.

6700K or 5820K?

What problem with usb and xmp profiles? and is the x99-a usb 3.1 concern by those issue? I bought yesterday the asus x99-a and F4-2800C16Q-16GRK. I was not aware of those kind of issue.

Not sure about a workstation, as for gaming it do make quite a difference, you should at least take the 2666 one if it's a gaming rig.

If you can wait about 6-8 week, the price should be about the same, for the cpu and mother board, a little more expensive for the ddr4 vs ddr3. If you can't wait the 4690k is still a good choice. As for me, I'm going to buy the 5820k, asus x99-a and ripjaws 2800 16-16-16-36 in a couple minute.

That why said last thing, but an other thing crossed my mind, I believe kaby lake will be on 1151 too, if I get an 6700k and sell it to get a kaby lake later would it make more sense to get the 6700k insteed of the 5820k, since I dont think anything else will be release on the 2011-v3 socket...

The last thing I can't answer is how significant will the IGP improve fps with a dGPU. I've read somewhere that they will work together to improve performance but will it really become a thing and if so could it outcome 2 addiational core?

I do, but not on a profesional level, so the time it take isnt the most important thing, but it sure nice. As for the mobo I've compared with other board and overall the hero was my first pick for what I wanted and was still within my current budget. I wonder if any better cpu would be release...

180 $ cad for 2x8gb 3000 15-15-15-35 ripjaws, It sure more then ddr3 but it's about the same price i've paid my 12gb triple channel 1600 9-9-9-27 hyperx 3 year ago.

It's not worse for gaming with proper ram, sadly the ddr4 is far away off being on par with the current ddr3. It was similar with the x99.
