Tax law seems really weird wrt mining.
Seems like you could get around it pretty easy by making a new currency that is easy to mine but you value it high, then after a few months the value dumps and you sell all of it for a "loss". Report this on your taxes to offset your gains = no taxes paid...
I have been thinking for VR if you could dedicate 1 GPU to each eye say even with vega 64 levels of GPU it should beat the pants off almost anything available now. I guess that is the question if it can be done with something like infinity fabric.
Couple things:
If you go into the apple store they will go through the entire setup with you. You will leave the store all done (this can take awhile though, especially if the store is busy, I did it at the busiest one in the twin cities, this was for the wife).
Only way to get cheaper phones...
The thing I can't wrap by head around in the money calculations is the initial investment. When people go through to figure out when the system will "pay" for itself they don't take into account instead of installing the solar panels if you had invested that money. It puts the true paying for...
Best I found was http://www.cube-tablet.com/cube-i7-core-m-4g-lte-tablet.html
I never got one because I wanted something better than a Core-M processor. I did try the Acer switch alpha 12 which was somewhat nice but I did have hardware/software issues so I returned it. That one does not have a...
So just wondering (I really am as I am thinking of something similiar), what does this have over just doing a remote desktop? So have your cheap laptop or tablet being the remote desktop for the powerful desktop?
Really thinking of this for games that would be too demanding for the...
My Q6600 is still the family desktop computer and it was my only gaming computer till last summer. I really only played Final Fantasy XIV on it at that point though.
Still a great general purpose internet, office computer though.
It is funny that my in-laws bought a Q6600 Dell at about the...
http://www.rtings.com/tv/learn/3d-tvs-active-3d-vs-passive-3d
would be a good read, quick look is most of the TVs a older models so might be hard to find, except LG still makes some including OLED.
Edit:
Also by this article passive doesn't seem to work as well close up to the TV.
I haven't taken the plunge due to several shortcomings, but I would think your best option would be a 3D TV with passive glasses. Resolutions probably isn't a big deal as you can get 4K 3D TVs. LG might be the only panel maker with passive 3D still currently though.
Shortcomings:
No freesync...
I don't know what city you are in, but Costco has the UN65KS800DFXZA in stock online and maybe in store. I believe that is the same as the KS8000.
I am in the same boat really wanting a big TV as a monitor, but leaning more toward the curved version due to sitting closer to it. Ideally I really...

This is the Acer XG270HU for $349.99 at Newegg till 5/26. I bit the bullet and got this one since the other one I...
If I remember right the only thing OLED was missing from the HDR game is brightness. This is because at least historically OLED had issues going to the same brightness as LCDs.
If you do some reading on OLED (especially LGs as they have the most out there as TVs) they do a auto-brightness...
Microcenter has traditionally sold for even $100 less than Newegg, so Microcenter selld for $250 what costs $350 at newegg on brand new just released products. Back in the day I got a Q6600 there because I could see if it was the newer stepping rather than random chance of trying Newegg (don't...
