Anyone seen the video demo of Google Wave?

Great so another thing to learn and migrate to that makes my old data obsolete. I hope they still keep email around. I don't care if it's based off a pre-computer paradigm, it works well for many things. Then if we need too collaborate, we can use the new Wave thing. I do like tech (duh ATOT)...

Undoing a save in Word

Did you have "always create backup copy" checked in Word options? If it's DOC format you might be able to open it up in a hex editor or even notepad, it's likely the cut out text is still in there. I'm not familiar with the DOCX format but that should be even eiser to poke into.

Can I hyperlink in an email to a document attached to the email?

You can also do it in html email, I think it's a link that starts with a "cid" This can also be used to put some images into your mailing that will always be available with the letter.

I think because it's the standard setting that is always used in the bios these days. If you still find problems you could back it down to S1 in the bios. Ideally, your issue won't be sleep related (perhaps a buggy driver, hardware, etc.) so that if things work for a while you could try s3 if...

Well I would say that graphics are a unique form from other PC work like web browsing in that sharpness and focus are not as important. In very few comparisons is one thing clearly better or worse than another, there are different trade-offs that one must match to their intended use.

You will to have set the server to sleep or hibernate and then enable wake on lan. Gigabit isn't related as far as I know. Then the clients have to send the the "magic packet" to wake it up. I haven't done this myself but I get the feeling this is one of those things that sounds like it...

^he's throwin' it down. I would add, get a ups, it's a good investment. You could also use s4, suspend to disk (which has been replaced by hybrid sleep s3+s4 in vista and up for the speed of s3 plus the safety of s4).

Why do so many people run photoshop on a mac?

IMO, re: photoshop, the ui matches with that of a Mac very well, where there is one menu bar at the top and no giant window to contain the entire app. In photoshop, the menus are used a lot, and having them at the top edge allows much faster access. Plus unless you are a true ninjitsu, the ram...
