So where can I pick up some of those? heh What confuses me is that there are Coppermine and Coppermine-T cores. I have deduced from readings and searching the Google that the Coppermine-T are the PIII-S type, in that they can be used in dual cpu configurations. I have also found on Pricewatch...

Ahh, I guess that would explain it. The one that is "Dual processor compatible" is 512k cache compared to the other which is 256k. Thanks much

newbie RAID questions

By my understanding, and on my RAID controller, raid 0+1 requires 4 drives. Each "extra" drive makes backs up it's partner that makes a piece of the RAID 0 array. Incase you couldn't decipher my gibbrish: Basically it's a RAID 1 array of 2 RAID 0 arrays

Computer freezes when phone rings

One thing I did forget to mention is that the computer and regular phone share the same phone line. I will look into your suggestion, Corky-g. Thanks for the advice And in response to Mee, I do believe I turned wake-on-ring off, but the computer will even freeze right after a fresh boot

Here's a small update: It's sat there for a week or so. That's pretty much it... yesterday I ordered 2 more drives for the array though, so when I get those I'll put them into a 0+1 configuration. I guess it's safe to assume that everything is gone when I rebuild the array... I just was...
