AMD breaks some DX9 games with Adrenalin drivers, they won't be fixing it?

AMD already confirmed on twitter that they will issue a hotfix as soon as this is resolved. Just as expected.

Talk about dishonest marketing. Anyway 15% faster than RX480 probably only in DX11. Slower in DX12. Should be on par with AIB RX480 if they are indeed clocked faster than stock. 6gb vs 8gb is IMO not an issue at least for now. VR numbers are nonsense probably. Its like claiming RX480 is 30x...

Was looking at 1070 AIB. Reference would need to be considerably cheaper than AIB for me to even look at it, not the other way around.

Still more expensive than MSRP + VAT. Dont forget about shipping from Germany. You have to add somewhere between 10-30 EUR on top of that.

AMD Polaris Thread: Radeon RX 480, RX 470 & RX 460 launching June 29th

Looking at endnotes i noticed they said they tested on 16.1.1 version of the driver (the steam vr test). Other slides are using the 16.20 driver (for 480M and 470). Are they hiding something or are they just sloppy.

err no...They compared it to 950 which is nowhere near 280x. 960 is the chip that is close to 280x / r380.

What exactly are those indications that pascal will be more energy efficient? We have yet to see any real numbers from either camp.

They cant compare it to pascal since we dont know how it performs. Its obvious even from a marketing slide its going to be an order of magnitude better than nvidias maxwell and not just competitive. The big question is how good will pascal be. They will use 16/14nm and HBM2 just like AMD, but...

They compare it to a 140W GPU. GTX950 is a 90W GPU. 970 is my guess so 86W for 390 level of performance.
