Admin Password..

I have xp home edition and the pass that I know i set for admin isnt working and I have to login as admin to install the XP update for cd crestor 5.0 Any ideas on how to reset it?

Thinking about Water Cooling

I'm no expert but I'm building a water cooling setup right now. Since you don't want to spend time building it then your probably gonna wanna just use a reservoir/pump combo because closed loop can be more difficult to bleed/fill. I wouldn't get a kit though because they all have weaknesses...

No the G400 has better 2D then a brand new geforce 2

Suggestions for a peltier, please help...

I'm no expert but if you want to use a peltier its probably a good idea to water cool. Why not just start out water cooling and maybe move up to a peltier later on. Even a ghetto water cooling setup is better then any HSF.

Problems with my Promedias and Monitor?

I just got my new 2.1 Klipsch promedias and IBM P260 Flatscreen and when I listen to songs the bass is soo stronge that it makes the bottom corners just flicker a little bit. Nothing drastic anyone else with a flatscreen notice this? Is it bad? I could move my sub more but I still think it will...

Ya and if its AT&T cable watch out they oversell all the time. Ask some people in your area. Oh and e-phex not all DSL providers use PPPOE.

A7M I would say. The Iwill uses ali magic chipset and from the tests it doesn't seem as fast as the AMD760 chipset.

Please help me!! Buying a 1.2GHz AMD DDR(PC2100) motherboard soon!

Well I'm in the same boat but it looks like I'm just gonna go with the Asus A7M266. I don't plan on using more then 2 DIMM slots anyway. I want to try and wait for the K7 Master but man thats looking like next month. Can't do the IWill because I don't want to go with ali magic chipset.

Where are my RC5 stats?

I basicly joined because I like the Anandtech forums and since my new Athlon 1.2 256mb PC2100 was gonna be on 24/7 with my DSL connection I might as well help out with all that power just sittin around.

Where are my RC5 stats?

phule- I did check the FAQ before I decided to 'waste' your time. I didn't find anything about why my stats didn't show up or about flushing unless I overlooked it. I know I'm doing RC5 because I DID read the FAQ and switched. So yes I did make some attempt to find the info myself. I'm not lazy...

I just started crunchin at 2/5 4:00AM EST. It says check after 24hrs whcih would have been 2/6 4:00AM. So its been well over 24hrs but when I search for my name it doesn't come up. Any ideas?

Question about IDE cables..

I'm building a new PC myself for the first time. I'm gonna have a floppy, HD, DVD, CD-RW drive. Would it be better if I just got single device IDE cables? Money wise isn't a issue I just wanna know if it would be better to have all devices have there own cable instead of using dual device IDE...

Hello? Where are all the PS2's Sony promised us?

Exactly that's what people don't understand. The regular Joe doesn't want to have to upgrade to the latest video drivers, the newest patch blah blah to make his game stable or run. They just want to put the disk in and play period. Of course the Xbox is like a PC but its a closed environment...

Supermicro SC750A

I have had one for 2 years. Its very big well built and has a lot of room. Bad thing is its too heavy, too loud. My next case will be Aluminum no doubt about that.
