Asian Parents and Pressure

Same with me. Felt like a pressure cooker without a release valve then all of a sudden in college the whole thing blew open. Luckily I'm not too messed up :P. In all honesty, most of that hard work did pay off though.

Anybody hire a stripper before?

Very hard to date a stripper. If you want her to quit, you won't be able to afford her life style. She's used to the easy money so never thinks twice about buying the most expensive stuff. But I think most of us dated strippers b/c it was exciting and the sex can be very very good.

That it is correct! Large Japanese population there. Lots fled US during/after WWII due to obvious reasons (US detention camps). European ancestry isn't uncommon either. Much truer sense of the term "melting pot" than I see here in NYC.

Major babes? Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It's peak summer time there, perfect beach weather, lots of topless sun bathers. You could get your jet skiing, para sailing, swimming, and etc. Easy to get in trouble though with so many hot women around. The exchange rate is 3-1 so it's more affordable...

I'm running an agp and a pci vid card in my system with w2k. I had to set the pci vid card to initialize first in my bios or it wouldn't run dual. Don't know if it's just me. Just a FYI.

Approved might mean it was approved for 900Mhz. You'll have to check for what speed the PSU was approved for. With 1.4ghz, you'll be safer with at least an 300 watt psu.

I looked at directron and colorcase.com. I settled for a fancy looking case from colorcase (no s at the end) for about $90 shipped. If you're looking to overclock, these color cases do not provide the ventilation that you'll need. Mine only has a 80mm intake and 40mm exhaust fan. Way too puny to...

What are the pros and cons of an LCD monitor?

Playing fps on lcds are becoming less and less of an issue as response times of the lcds are becoming faster and faster. I have a planar and so far every game I've played on it looked great. And one more thing, although it already looked great through the analog connector, it looks even better...

Best 17in monitor / CRT vs LCD

I got in on the Planar 17.4" LCD deal a couple of weeks back. I can say with certainty that all the blurriness with non-native resolutions is minimal. I also do a lot of gaming and have not noticed any difference between my old crt and my new lcd. Granted, I come from an average to low end...
