I have just upgraded to winxp from w2k and it won't recognize the trv-900 at all. Funny thing is that this is one of the camera supposed to be compat with winxp. Anyone else have problems?

I've got the 1240 and it actually does a decent job. Depends on what your needs are though. I scan for us in powerpoint and it works fine. I don't think you'll ever get great quality slide scan from a flat bed scanner though.

I'm using the freebee musicmatch program and have been getting between 4-7 rip speed when extracting mp3 at 128k. Is this respectable? btw, does anyone experience lock-ups after ripping several cds?
I plan to build 4 computers that are identical, using Athlon processors. All with same drives, motherboard, graphics card, etc. If I use just one copy of winxp, would it think that it's the same computer and allow me to register?
Just got one for $50. These things (and win xp pro) are amazing. All I did was take it out of the box, plug it in and win xp pro recognize it, installeds it and configured it. Took a total of 30 sec.
I have an IBM laptop with those ultrabay hot swap drives. I'm trying to install w2k (or any OS for that matter) from the boot floppy, then the computer ask for the cdrom. Well...when I pull out the FD and put in the CDROM, it wouldn't recognize it. Is there any other way to install a new OS?
I know this topic has been dicussed before, but the previous replies show how to disable dual boots only. I accidently installed 2 copies of w2k on the same drive (only one partition on this drive). How do I completely remove one of the copies?
