How are you guys getting these deals? I called and said I was thinking about swithing to cable since it's cheaper and the rep said "Yeah, cable is normally cheaper". That was pretty much the entire conversation. WTF? Is it because I still have a few months left on my contract?

<< what motherboard is it? and are you running it off the mobo (3pin fan header) or power supply (4pin connector)? >> I've got a ECS K7S5A mobo and the fan is running off the power supply.

I recently purchased a Swiftech 462 heatsink/fan combo. After installing it, I turned my computer on and the fan runs for maybe 5 seconds, then shuts off. The PC still runs but the fan completely stops. Then, If I completely turn off the computer and turn it back on, it runs again for a few...
