I agree with rgwalt.
Jesus Christ transforms hearts and lives. It is peoples hearts that need changed and if they don't humble themselves for God to permeate their hearts to change it won't happen. When the Pharoh in Moses time had his heart hardended by God ------It was God that finally...
My 2 case fans are reading double the RPM of their rating. The CPU reading is accurate. These reading are the same in the Bios and MBM and Asus Probe -------All double the actual speed of the fan. Any suggestions or solutions or reasons for this ???
Thank you in advance

In the system properties-Device manager---disk drives -------- My Quantum 20 gig ata-100 hard drive has sync transfer checked. I thought that should be checked only for SCSI drives. Should I uncheck it ?? Or leave it alone ? What does sync transfer do for my drive ??
Thanks

Ambient temp is 25 C --Case is 28 C and CPU runs at 39 C at first boot to right now at 44-45 C as I speak on the net. I just got done playing a game of High Heat 2002 also so that may play a part also. I am using MBM 5.06 I think. I have the Taisol Heatsink with the 3 clips for the socket...
What have you guys with the above card been able to overclock it with stability ? This card has a monster heatsink on the GPU. I currently have mine clocked to 200 GPU 200 memory with no problems thus far. How far can it go stable with just the stock heat dissipation ?
Thanks
Dave

IMHO ----Sunon fans do a nice job --BUT they are loud (80MM). I put Coolermaster AF8-25IM-74 80MM fans in mine and I like them. They move 33cfm with 29 decibels for noise. Not the best for noise but alot quieter than the Sunon fans I had. Sunons move more air but at the expense of noise. I have...
What do you use for intake fans ? How often do you clean and or replace them for optimal performance ? My temps are 27 C mobo and 40 C CPU right now as I have been on the net for over an hour now. I have seen the CPU get up to 46 C after playing games for a few hours. I feel these temps are...
I was a little leary about doing it ----but I did anyway. I scraped off the thermal tape off my Coolermaster DPH-6H51 heatsink fan combo and off the core. I couldn't get all of the thermal tape residue at the sides of the core but I got all of it off the top part of the core. The Thermal tape...
I have a T-Bird 800 on an Asus A7V Bios 1005A and when I am on the net I have a temp of the CPU of 41 C and MB of 26 C. It doesn't change much from this. When I play a game it goes up 2-3 C tops to 44-45 C. Is these temps OK? I am using a Coolermaster DP5-6H51 heatsink fan combo with Thermal...
It died on Thursday night. It was fine in the morning and I went to work and Thursday night I cranked her up ---------AND---------nothing happened. Power went on ----fans were running --hard drive initiated but nothing on the screen. I took the the computer over to a friends house who also has a...
Well-----------My CPU died on Wednesday----It may have been the felt pads but I will never know. I had to get a new T-Bird 800 on Thursday. Just thought you would want to know. The rubber pads MAY indeed be very important. I had 2 small chips missing fom the corner of the core on both sides that...
Thanks for all the replys. It is running fine and temps are good---around 38-40 idle and 43-45 when being tested. Thanks again----I just glued it back on ---it isn't as pliable as before but glue does harden it a bit i guess. like I said temps are good.

I was cleaning up my core and around it where I got some Artic Silver on it. One of the pads fell off. I re-applied it with some glue. Am I hurting anything ? Can I get a new pad someplace ? My temps are adequate at around 40 C for a T-Bird 800 and around 45 C with a load. What purpose do these...

Thanks for your reply. My temps with the silicone based paste are decent at 40 c and 44c with a load. Not bad.I was in the 50c idle to 60 c with a load before. I put a couple of case fans in today as well. I ordered some Artic Silver paste so I will re apply that when it arrives. I hope to drop...
Thanks for your reply. I just ordered some Artic Silver so I will use this Silicone based paste until then. I was running aroung 50 C and close to 60 C with a reasonable load and was having heat problems---Blue screen etc.. -------Just with the silicone based paste I was able to lower that to 40...
I have a question on this-----------I put some Radio Shack heat sink compound (Silicone Based ) between my Thunderbird 800 and the heatsink and it has done wonders ---temp came down 10 Degrees C. The question is on the CPU I avoided putting and on the diode thingys and the little metal gates...
