Upgrading from 4 camera coax system and a little lost as to what to buy..
IF you can recommend a home security page forum I'd be grateful also..
did not get that from reading the artical..
"This evolution is such that, while this unit doesn't always match the Seasonic Platinum-1000 across the board, it does represent a legitimate challenge to the best power supply we have ever reviewed."
I get its maybe a tie and maybe a fluke good...
Yeah Coulds is the way of the future.. barf :)

I'd call it access to play Dirt 3 at Stream not a COPY of anything other than a Stream Installer.exe
i'M DUMB AND OLD and I like things explained in a reasonaly manner before I enter into a deal with a internet seller.. If I could download a digial copy of the CD I would be fine but all I can...
I'm angry that after all this work I dont get a COPY........
I would never call being able to play on line a COPY..
Whats it a Copy Of ?
Its not a copy of Dirt 3 were I come from..

Im pretty angry with Newegg and AMD
The image at their site said "Get your free copy"
I assumed download at the least, copy is hard copy in my world..
But it seems I have to reg at AMD then Stean and then Xbox Live and wait a month for the coupon code after sanning and faxing bar code...
I have been trying to decide on a new MoBo after some reading here my plan is to buy a ASUS P8Z68 DELUXE/GEN3
As far as CPUs I am thinking of a i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz
But reading about it says I need a P67 chip to use it unlocked..
Will the z68 suppout it or am I not understanding...
Thanks SirGCal,
I got it covered now :)
In the Nav Menu the option to see Digital Panel and all the submenu is missing on 10-12 70mb release and also missing on the 10-5 x86 and x64 release..
To get scaling you MUST download the 100mb full suite
If you google ATI driver scaling...

There $69 now but they where on a special email deal and have a $10 rebate so they where really $39 each :)
NITRO:
That is the issue if you do not download...
I just bought two new 5570s for my HTPC @newegg for $49 each
I could not find the scaling option any where..
I called yesterday just before close and guy said get the 10-5 drivers not the 10-12s that came out yesterday..
Tried it and still no scaling..

My mobo Asus P5Q Deluxe has two LAN ports and not sure how to use two..
I just orgered a Linksys gigbyte Switch to add to my Linksys Router and I was wondering if this could be used 2nd LAN some how..
Thanks and sorry for asking a dumb question..
I figuered it out :)
Dont beat me, but I left a usb for an extra wireless mouse when switching them out and the computer in the other room was screwing with this one I guess...
Thanks for your replys anyway..
Have a great day!!!
I only found 20 tracking cookies I now unhooked network and un connected all drives but boot and will hook each drive one at a time..
Can this be a bad mobo or connetion?
Hi,
I am stumped..
I have programs opening up on screen while away from computer over night..
I have reinstalled XP 64 and have now installed Win7 64
Installed a New AV Norton and done a full system scan...
I still have programs opening while montor is sleeping..
I have a few HHDs...
Hi,
I do have same L/P (Login and Password)
I tried to say that in post above but my bad typing may have confused you :)
"I have the same L/P on but systems "
Should have been "on BOTH systems"
Thank you very much for you reply thought....
I found the reason why..
This fixxed it but I did not have an 31 error msg
Error 31 when attempting to browse the XP machine
This error occurs if you set up a user account without a password, and then attempt to log in across the network. By default, Windows XP doesn't permit remote...
I know you must hate this question but I am GREEN.....
I have set up sharing with full access a few times..
I just installed WinXP x64 on my Server can can't get it to share full access..
It shares the shared folder.
I have simple shring off..
THE ISSUE IS:
When I first connect to it...
I would go with the DDR2 as it is much cheaper and I think I read that DDR3 doesnt have the same bang for buck..
As far as 775 vs i7 I think spending $200-$250 for a chip and mobo is a much better deal than spending $400 or $600
IMHO I have not read that i7s are that smoking hot to spend...
Does the Bios Fail to see drive or does it just fail boot to Windows??
If it just fails to boot Windows you have to reinstall Windows it in ACHI mode
I had lost of problems switching
You may have to slip stream drives on to Windows CD if you cant load Windows on HDD
Google "Nlite...
Opps I stand corrected as most times...
Got my Purple and Orange Squares mixed up in this Artical
It does sequential writes and random reads faster though :)
Two out of Four aint bad...
I have the exact Raid setup 1TB Blacks and my benchmarks are great..
Maybe they have a bad drive or MoBo is not happy but so far I think my sys is much faster now than a single drive..
I just read the Artical at ExtremeTech and it says you should NOT use 0 Raid for a OS
Other than one of two drives are more likely to fail than one whats the down side???????

You can do 0Raid with two WD SATA HDDs for about $150 and blow both of your options away..
If your mobo supports raid if not buy a new mobo for $100 and two Sata HDDs for $150 and your still ahead on cost and performance.....
Download a trial of HD Tune and check your Benchmarks
http://www.hdtune.com/
I have two 1TB Blacks in 0Raid
My Benchs are
Xfer rate
Min. 106
Max 201
Avr 166
Access Time 9.8
Burst 143
Edit:
Try HD Tach maybe that will run on Vista x64
I think you can build a killer system for $1500
For $1000 you can build a nice Intel Core2 or 4 775 socket since Chips and mobos are 1/2-1/3 of the cost of a i7
I would buy from www.newegg.ca
I just built my system 2-3 months ago before the i7s where released for about $1,000
My Asus P5Q Deluxe Mobo model has one with plug in or with onboard and I think I read its the same card on both.. So why pay $100 more for plug in???
I have a great set of Boston Acustics speakers and rarely crack it up with some MP3s and most times its so low that I can hardly hear a Ding :)
Need 500w-600w
Will you ever go SLI or Crossfire Dual Video Cards in the next 3-4 years???
Then you may want to spend $30-$40 more and get a 750w-850+ watts for future expansion.
I have two of those kits and just used a few feet :(
It doesnt glow very well..
The shrink tubing is not what I would call the correct sizes...
Its a lot of work and 1/2 the time the shrink or sleeving melts before your have the look you want...
Use a Lighter for best resluts as a heat...
