SAVE YOUR MONEY. I'm sorry to say, but this blender just plain sucks. IMO, it's not a hot deal even if it's free.
I bought one of these a while back, and it was truly awful. I thought I was upgrading from my 20-year old Hamilton Beach blender, but I was wrong--the cheapo blender works...
I bought this case thinking it would be similar to the Antec 1080s that I have...but was disappointed. No latching case door. The door on this case interferes with the DVD drive button...so you actually have to mount the drive recessed so it doesn't push the button when you close the door. I...
This is good news... 90 days was ridiculously short, especially for such an expensive console.
I'm still going to buy an extended warranty on mine, 'cause I'm waiting for my THIRD 360 to show up after the first two failed.
Put down the khakis and back away!
Here's a bit of advice: just 'cause an item of clothing is cheap doesn't mean you should wear it. Remember folks, these pants are CHEAP FOR A REASON.
High-waisted, pleated khakis are hopelessly and utterly out of style. And just plain ugly.
Maybe the...
A lot of us already have an HDTV, so we don't have to pay any more. I paid $450 for my 360 bundle, and it came with an extra wireless controller and play & charge kit. Considering the capabilities of the 360 (streaming media from PC) plus the great gaming possibilities, and the ease of xbox...
It disgusts me to see people taking more than they need of something that's in short supply.
:disgust:
This is what we've become as a society?any potential for profit justifies being a selfish prick.
$427 List price?
Is this thing better than a Neoflex? Why? It looks like it would be a lot more difficult to adjust.
<--- checking in from Renton, Washington :)
I find it irritating that most consumer devices that I've seen have DVI-out, but most HDTV's have HDMI-in. Of course, a simple, passive adapter is ~$35. Anyone else find this incredibly stupid?
What the heck is so hot about something selling for $19 OVER MSRP??
I called the local GameStop, and the gentleman there told me that it would be no problem to order either system WITH NO BUNDLE, for MSRP. I don't think that's necessarily hot, but it's definitely less freezing...
I ordered two on the 8th. Still waiting. Got an email response back to my inquiry stating, basically, they're waiting for a new shipment from the supplier.
FYI, the Arctic NV Silencer 5 is a MUST HAVE upgrade to this card. I don't know why the OEM's can't figure out how to make a QUIET cooler. The stock cooler looks nice, but sounds like a jet engine! With the Silencer 5, I can't hear the VGA cooler over my (relatively) quiet PSU fan.
Wow, good price on the HDD...too bad they want TAX + $9.72 GROUND shipping. :disgust: Makes is $97.32 for me. Ima check Fry's B&M in the morning, and see if they have it, too.
UPDATE: I purchased the NV Silencer 5 for my Biostar iDEQ 200N, and it fits! There's not much clearance, but it works. MUCH quieter than the stock fan. It's no louder than the relatively quiet System fans on the iDEQ.
I'd highly recommend the Silencer 5!
I have the BFG 6800 OC 128 + a HUGE Arctic NV Silencer 5 cooler mounted in a Biostar iDEQ 200N, no problems, fit like a glove. I think it's the same basic size & layout as the Shuttle SFF.
Love this video card; what a great deal!!
This card was OBNOXIOUSLY LOUD, until I installed the Arctic NV Silencer 5. That quieted it right down. Newegg sells the NV5 for right around $29 shipped, and it's worth every penny! Oh, in case anyone is wondering, the 6800 + NV5 are installed in...
I'm interested to find out how the cooler works out for you. I just bought the BFG 6800 OC, and it's LOUD!! If the cooler is a big improvement, I think I'm going to have to pick one up. Please post up your opinion when you get it.
Personally, I don't care what the management @ Best Buy thinks of me. I'll shop there when the deal is right for me, and if they stop offering attractive deals, I'll stop buying from them. Simple.
To me, publishing that story just seems like needless whining.
Qwest SUCKS, big time.
After countless errors, extra charges, hassles and outright lies, I'd had enough. I deep-sixed Qwest both at home and at the office, and I'm much happier now. Buh-bye, Qwest! :)
I have an HP lappy--very similar to that one (ZE4101). Can't be upgraded to XP Pro; it's VERY proprietary. Comes loaded with all sorts of junk software, and NO OS disk...just the "restore" disks. If something goes wrong with your OS, you will lose all your data with the destructive restore...
