Welp seems 3080ti is incoming now, that looks like almost everything from NV ,60ti,rumored cutdown ga102 "70ti" and now a supposed 78sm 80ti.
It looks like Jensen is willing to paper launch the entire stack from top to bottom at once, but to what end?
Does Nvidia think that customers will...
Looks like the 3070 reviewers guide leaked
https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-geforce-rtx-3070-reviewers-guide-leaked
1 thing I found found interesting is that the 3070 has the same sm count as the 2080 and the 3080 has the same as 2080ti.
I'd bet money that if it werent for AMD being...
I have to agree if the 6700xt really sits between 2080 super and 2080 ti (roughly 40% faster than 5700xt) and remains priced at 399-449 like its predecessor it will land far too close to the series X in price and performance imo.
The Xbox is a whole system with with a gen4 nvme drive and uses...

I couldnt fully grasp everything through the machine translation but it looks like big navi could be quite an overclocker.
XFX is super leaky AMD would be crazy to give them any more info than they absolutely have to.
well since Videocards is trying to hit the brakes on the hype train let me try to shovel some more coal into the engine. Not saying I believe this chart at all but it's fun to speculate, and 3070 perf...
So I'm not one to usually speculate about things I don't understand but I am curious about something .
More than once now I've heard that the die size for Big Navi seems to bee bigger than what would be deemed necessary for what we know and are assuming about the architecture.
Does anyone else...
I know this guy isn't anyone's favorite "source", but its been a slow couple days, so why not?
He seems to be doubling down on the on die cache rumor and claims HBM for consumer cards is a no go .
Also claims that AMD put fake info in the MAC and Linux firmware dumps to throw people...
Newegg not giving af,hasnt even taken the page down yet lol

Ouch, it's hard to read that with a 980 Ti sitting in my rig right now,the idea of Nvidia purposefully holding back my performance to make newer cards look better frankly turns my stomach .Big Vega cant come soon enough.
I overclocked my 390X to 1200/1650 (only stable for long enough to do Steam VR test) when those first 480 tests at 6.3 showed up and I maxed out at 9.3 (5820k@4.5GHz 16gb DDR4 2400MHZ) :sneaky:
I feel for you Aussies you get absolutely murdered on prices, that does make me feel much better about my purchase. I figure I'll ride out the death rattle of Maxwell and sell it when something compelling at a reasonable price comes along.
I was perfectly willing to accept a side grade with...
I know I'm going to get railed for this but I bought an EVGA SC+ 980ti for $350 today.
I sold my 390X for $260 last week after buying into all the Polaris Hype.
Needless to say I was dissapointed and did not feel that custom boards were worth waiting for.
I also have an X99 system and I'm...
Where is everyone getting ~390 perf from?
Was it the Steam VR test or all those gameplay videos with weird settings?
I just want to be clear 390=5.1 Tflops RX 480= 5.8 Tflops ,are people really suggesting 12% decrease in perf/flop from Hawaii so casually?
Am I the only one that thinks...
I agree ,
I was already sold on this card once I saw the theoretical TFLOPS rating.
All I'm hoping for is eqivalent max framerates with better minimums than my 390X had when both are Max OC'ed, with much less overall power draw. Anything more is icing on the cake for me
Assuming that it's holding 60 FPS mins at those settings that puts it roughly in OC 390X vanilla Fury range.
I'm sold, my 390X made my PC room too warm for my liking.
What I'm really excited to see is how it performs in Fallout 4 with God rays and shadow distance at Ultra.
So you got a friend price deal on what is arguably one of the best 28nm aib cards ever created and that somehow makes a 200$ mainstream card bad in price/perf for everyone else?
What are you getting at ?
Let me ask you this you paid 430 for your card that most likely edges out an OC 1070...
Same,I am honestly more excited about what could be coming in the next big Crimson update, even though I will most likely be buying a 480 to replace my 390X.
http://wccftech.com/amd-rx-480-1500mhz-overclocking-tool-voltage-control/
480 capable of 1.5+ GHz
AMD is building voltage control and fan profiles into Crimson Overdrive
I hope the new tool works with pre Polaris cards as well
Is that really the case though ? Isn't the 270x a 212mm2 die with 180watt TDP?
