It booted in windows with 2 stick and it crashed after 3 hours.
I tested the suspect stick in3 slots and no post and 5 beeps
Should i return both sticks or just the faulty?
I tried the same stick of ram in 3 slots and every time the pc didnt post .When i used the other stick alone pc booted fine. So is the ram stick faulty?
PC booted into bios with 1 ram stick . The strange thing is that the bios shows that the ram stick is installed on the 4 slot instead of 1.Gigabyte's faulty bios?.I am using the first slot from the right .
I will put electrical tape on every stand off just to make sure it's not shorting out. I checked gigabyte's forum and found that this chipset had lot of ram related problems
i have tried another psu same result.Change the cmos battery? Also after the memtest pc boot into windows with no problems.THen i turned it off and it boot loops again.
I put back in the second ram stick and it is all working fine!!!!!!.I will lose my mind!!!!!
I will ran i memstest for the dual channnel just to be sure.
Yesterday my pc froze while in windows and it wouldnt post after the crash(boot loop). Then i took everything out of the case and reassembled them on a box.It worked fine and to make sure i run prime 95 and heaven for 2 hours without a problem So i put it back in the case and it boot loops...

Yesterday i cleaned up my friend 's desktop .After reassembling the pc he took it to his home. When he tried to turn it on flames came out from the power supply. Is it my fault? Why the psu died? I used a compressed air can to clean the pc.
Thanks in advance
