It sure did.
Samsung 980 pro has a performance mode, if enabled it went up to 60C idle.
I installed a heatsink and it came down to 40C idle.
Pcie 4.0 ssd gets very hot. You need a heatsink
AMD has backtracked, but they still havent kept their promise to 100%. I got a Asus Crosshair VI extreme x370 board. It is a beast and sucks to be kept out of support.
My 3700X runs like a dream.
3700X @ 4.1 ghz on alll cores
33C idle and 70C full load stress test
Asus Crosshair VI Hero X370 chip
32GB Ripjaws 3600mhz
Hitting 7000 in PCmark 10. Over 5000 in CB20.
what's with the disparity between cpu-Z single thread benchmark and passmark single thread benchmark?

does anyone know if Ryzen 1800X consumes less power (watt) then a i7 4820K? I am a bit worried about my PSU.
I found out that my Fury X is consuming more power then a 1080Ti :(
is there a poster called Coldfriction here? A slow clap for you to stand up against the AMD haters in that neogaf thread. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=231593269&postcount=1217 People over there are treating ryzen like it is bulldozer and laughing at people buying it.
Another benchmark. Timespy on a 6950X = 11K http://cdn.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/NVIDIA-GTX-1080-Ti-Time-Spy-OC-1140x633.jpg
Timespy on 1800X = 8300 http://i.imgur.com/NVemcg2.jpg
Here OP, compare your benchmark against mine:
