Because it's Amd, because it should be running hot and bad @ p/w
Seeing the results of undervolting the card now just draws more and less 125W. I dont see the meaning of discussing this anyfurther

According to wccftech the rx 480 has a compute performance of 5.5 TFLPOs and there is another rumor confirming the 1266 clock speed.
Need some advice. I found a deal for my 9months old r9 390 nitro (265euros), although they sell for 280euros in europe, in my country they are still expensive. Do you guys think i should sell it and get an rx 480 ? if the leaks are true do you think the polaris 10 will be close the the 980ti in...
Because Sony is pricing their consoles in dollar and in euro but this is not the case with amd/nvidia. European standards are different much different and expenses are higher.
If a card is priced @300dollars in the us in europe you need to add at least 20% vat (360dollars=320euros) + extra expenses.
GTX 1070 is priced @ 500+euros even if the rx 480 is a 350 euros card ( wich is unlikely ). The difference is at least 150euros
In France the cheapest non F gtx1070 sells for 520euros thats almost 600$ (gtx 1080 MSRP) and the cheapest non F gtx 1080 is evga sc acx 3.0 and it sells for 760 euros = 860 dollars the Gaming X sells for 940 dollars :p.
°I ve been reading about this IPC regression for days on this forum and since im kinda new to hardware, can any one please tell me what is ipc and what is ipc regression in words normal folks would understand.:\
That's true :D, my r9 390 gives me 70° @ 50-55 fan load, i litterally can't hear the card since my shadow rock slim has more db @65 the temperatures drop to 64°. Though i am concerned what temperatures will i be having if i get a second nitro since one gpu is starting to struggle @1440 and i...
I think Nitro is cheaper than strix or so it has been for the last months ( ive been checking newegg repeatedly it was 320/350) but now it's not the case anymore even the european prices ( LDLC france and @ idealo.de ) sapphire has been lower by 20-40euros than asus/msi.
Ps: the sapphire r9 390...
Im using an r9 390 nitro, if the recent talk is true and we get a ''full polaris'' with performance near by 10% the gtx 1070, i will get it ( ofc after seing true benchmarks ) if not i will just grab a second 390 but then i will have to upgrade my psu from 750 b+ to 1000w
Thanks. The reason i was asking this is that i can find the pcs+ 20 euros cheaper than the sapphire.I currently own an r9 390 nitro wich im happy with but im hoping to get a second card and go for cf, i might wait for cheaper prices though.():)
I know this is kinda off topic but would u guys buy powercolor or sapphire for amd ? I was looking at the r9 390 pcs+ reviews and kitguru shows a 58°(6° cooler than the nitro) @ load while TPU is showing an average of 71(that's a difference of 13°).
For the Gpu i may not even wait for Vega, amd has already started cutting down prices of the 390 series. The 390 nitro sells for 270euros and the w.c 390x is for 340euros i will wait a little longer and see if price of the r9 390x devil goes below 300 and grab one if not i will buy a second...
Oops... Im kinda new here and in hw in general. Before buying my monitor (IPS) i remember i did a little research and from what i found IPs panels have better view angles while having higher response time (correct me if im wrong). So if those are the major differences then i m going for IPS again.
I currently game on an asus VX24ah(2560*1440) with an r9 390 nitro , the card is good it runs silent and cool and gives me very good fps(40+) on ultra with games prior to 2016. It will give me very good fps for 2012-2015 games but not with 2016 and futur games. I'm waiting for Vega to upgrade...
