I purchased some software years ago which stopped being updated/supported/made/distributed not too terribly long after. I'm guessing over a dozen years ago.
My old machine was built with Vista, my new computer is windows 10.
I've never been great with backups. I tend to keep things a LONG...
it happens very often in my facebook feed.. news sites, etc..
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/defending-the-u-s-from-north-koreas-nuclear-threat/
example.
I have no idea what this is called, so I can't even search properly for it.
A video on a website is playing - don't really care about the video, start scrolling down the page and it goes down the page as I scroll. Stop scrolling, close the video. Extra unwanted crap.
Is there a...
Verizon user here.. YES! Lots..
Found this app called "Should I Answer" and have been using it a while - works pretty good. Is it perfect? Of course not.. BUT.. it maintains a database of all blocked calls of users so you benefit from their blocked calls too.. I've been pretty happy with it.
As clearly stated in the message - I have been literally searching for days for a way to do this with no luck.
Is html/java not programming?
Load balancing? I think you're thinking too much of my little issue..
I'm driving myself nuts. I have been searching for days, just can't word a search to find exactly what I want so I'm hoping good old Anandtech will once again be my saving grace...
Please be gentle, I'm NOT a smart man.
What I'd like to do - is take a domain "exampledomain.com" and send its...
We now have anonymous calls and that particular number blocked. Have caller ID. The call, though annoying wasn't anything other than an education to our information being places we don't want it and we are more open to security issues than we thought.
Our issue is he had what she said he called...
The other night my wife was home alone. She got a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft's licensing department that told her there are people using her computer to do illegal things.
Gave her instructions to go to command prompt, type something that brought up her windows license...
I personally use Escrow.com for domain sales. they've done it a million times for high value names, so you know you can trust them for something in the hundreds of dollars area like you mentioned.
Contact the person who is the administrative contact. Tell them you have an interest in the name...
I've never been great about about keeping current with software and have been using Eudora since as far back as I can remember. Have been using Eudora 5.0 for years. It still works but I wonder what I'm missing in security/spam filtering.
What's out there now - what do you use/like?
Thank...
what was said about plastic being no good and get lets of shear pins while you can - SOLID advice.
Back about 16 years ago, bought a Craftsman - it was $799 on sale, don't remember any dimensions. Had electric start, NEVER needed it, a couple primes (push of a squishy bulb) and choke and...
You must not live near a Duchess. That's a shame. Good stuff!
Closed off? Do you mean as apposed to the MANY southerners that have bumper stickers that say "we don't care how you do it up north" or "go back up north"?
I'm in CT as well. Born, raised spent all but 5 years of my life here...
destrekor - I'm curious, what do you use the 40w LED's for?
I've been seeing their prices - but typically find anything less than the 60w/800ish lumen area not enough for me.
Here's what's real.
It SUCKS. If you have any relationship with any love with a parent (which you clearly did) it is a huge emptiness that you couldn't have possibly imagined without having gone through it first-hand.
You mentioned that you think your Dad would want you to do milestones...
You look great man.. Total respect. Every pat on the back, second look, compliment you get - you well deserve. To know you accomplished that and had trial/error mistakes makes it more possible to people with the evidence that it doesn't have to be perfectly laid out and executed 100% of the...
Outstanding thread.
If you're making your own pizza - to use a screen as posted, a pizza stone is a good investment.
Otherwise, a pizza piel is highly useful - even if you just cook frozen pizzas directly on the rack.
My preferences of those 4 would be Papa Johns first. Domino second.
I haven't had Pizza Hut in over 10 years, there must be a reason so I'll put them last.
I used to like Little Caesars and would have put them 2nd.. BUT in my area they went under for some years, unavailable and when they came...
