The windows program should show in the processes of Task Manager. If you don't see the program listed then it's not working.
Of course, if the program is pure DOS, then it may not show at all.

This BP6 was burned so bad, it left burned mark on the metal base. It was really lucky that it happened on the board that was in a case. The fire was contained and extinguished by itself.

True, it's fortunate that the fire did not burn anything else. I'll update the pictures when I remove the motherboard from the case.
I don't know if the soldering lead melted away and caused the short or if the melting is the result of the fire.
Well, it's been cracking RC5 at least 6 months. A few days ago SETI GUI 3.03 was added. I'll try to borrow a digital camera so I could keep a record of how bad the board looks before I remove it from the case.
I'll make a better observation and determination on what happen this weekend. But I won't risk a new motherboard with the current power supply. I'll recommend to my friend to change the power supply before installing a new motherboard.

SETI is being tested on these machines now. I don't know if RC5 will come back or if SETI will be chosen. The slower machines will probably retain the RC5 client since it will take forever to complete a workunit with SETI.
