I dloaded the latest Nforce Driver from Nvidia website for my NF2 8RDA+ and i wonder wich one i shoud install ,... what is SMbus driver ? I use XP SP1 , do i need to install the 'memory controler' drivers to ? , how about the IDE ones ? Help me on this pls ,..

x800 pro or x800 xt? Worth the $100+ price difference?

If you can , go with the XT , much pipes , more core/mem speed and in the long run is just a better buy .

Some Nvidiots are mad because H did not benched some useless 3Dmark2003 , Aquamark and tons of obsolete OGL games , instead they benched only popular releases , is this wrong ? ,... you don't buy a expensive card to play packman 3D. Ati x800 pro perform very well in D3D and can actualy hold...

Would you rather have AA or AF for 1024x768 gaming?

Humm , i like AA and i love AF , hard question , i need at least 2 AA , 4AF to enjoy a game (9800P) , but @ 1024x786 the AA is even more important so i will vote for AA , jaggies realy s*ux @ that res.

x800 pro on sale for 359.99

One month after release in big quantities the X800 Pro will proly be 289-300 $ and the X800XT something alround 450-470$ . ATI will proly also release in this period some 16 pipes X800XT but with 450 mhz core and less memory speed as a card betwen the Pro and the XT priced @ alround 400$.

I would take the X800 Pro , when you load the cards @ MAX the X800 Pro beat the 6800U hands down ,..is not only this , ATI has better D3D support , this is good for me since i am mostly in SIM wars like Op Flaspoint and Americas Army. Take a look how the 6800U perform when fully loaded ...

I dont' realy care about doom 3 Luthien , is a inside buildings engine with monster shooting , i will not buy or install such game even if it was for free . I don't buy a graphic card for a single game or who work best for OGL , this thing is obsolete , right now am more in D3D stuff like today...

I agree , but this stuff is in the past , more when DX8 was out , the game i play now the most now is FarCry , the best engine out ,...today OGL games are obsolete compeared with this engine . Games era based on OGL Quake III ended , what we have in future ,...STALKER , Half Life 2 , Next UT ...

D3D is the future , Quake III games ended up with COD , my main choice goes to X800 Pro . If how ever the GT will outperform the 800 Pro in loaded engines like FarCry , i will take the GT ,... at the end the best card in D3D will have my money . Looking especialy for a card who will shine in...

Looking into 22" (20" viewable) CRTs to replace my dying 19"...

NEC/Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 2070u is a fantastic monitor , i have one @ work , i like Sony also but you can't beat the newer Nec/Mitsubishi .
