The maximum X is probably the best and Taichi. Go for Taichi perhaps if wants to overclock as well.

Im pretty sure after all this mess with 64, they will try to have the 56 Vega at 399USD no matter what :D Shame it's not partner boards, Im looking to replace my good 480 Red Devil for a 56 from the same PowerColor guys if the did as a good job as they did with mine.

Building a new PC, Ryzen 1700, I have many questions

Not sure if Vega would come at 400$ pricing at launch. If they announce they will probably do the most expensive and only few months later on. I would get a better motherboard, go with the Taichi, its one of the best AMD mobos at the moment.

Actually if you have the money and find in stock, go with the 580, something like the golden sample from PowerColor, it's faster than 1060's.

For sure you dont need such high power PSU. Also, for a Ryzen 7 I would recommend a X370 has it usually comes with better VRMs, get the Killer which has really good price for the features.

Please Vote on a AM4 X370 Motherboard

It's pretty good, mostly the same as Fatal1ty K6, but with out the 5Gb lan. Happy with mine.

X370 Boards

Pretty happy with the X370 Fatal1ty, shares the same hardware and design as Taichi but adds the 5Gb intel lan and I love the red color scheme. :D

Am4 mother boards B350 v X370

The mobos you find using B350 generally dont have as strong VRMs as their brothers X370. One of the best motherboards apparently is the X370 Taichi and or X370 Crosshair.

Generally Asrock mobos are better choice compared to MSI, I had my issues with MSI and decided to give Asrock a try and never looked back ever since..

Get urself the Hyper from CM, its really good. The stock cooler is crap, its barely ok to run stock clocks :P

Generally if you overclock, Asrock is the top pick for me, also good price/features match in most of the cases. Asus is the obvious top brand, but you also pay the brand behind it.
