Im pretty sure after all this mess with 64, they will try to have the 56 Vega at 399USD no matter what :D
Shame it's not partner boards, Im looking to replace my good 480 Red Devil for a 56 from the same PowerColor guys if the did as a good job as they did with mine.
Not sure if Vega would come at 400$ pricing at launch. If they announce they will probably do the most expensive and only few months later on.
I would get a better motherboard, go with the Taichi, its one of the best AMD mobos at the moment.
For sure you dont need such high power PSU.
Also, for a Ryzen 7 I would recommend a X370 has it usually comes with better VRMs, get the Killer which has really good price for the features.
The mobos you find using B350 generally dont have as strong VRMs as their brothers X370.
One of the best motherboards apparently is the X370 Taichi and or X370 Crosshair.
Well if you want to keep your husband a bit more busy than usual but a motherboard that is pretty good at overclocking, like the Z270 Fatal1ty... he will be gone for days :D
Apparently Intel is still the way to go, if you game... Ryzen more productivity stuff.
This combo is pretty good if you want to adventure on overclock:

You would be better off with something like this...

Get a HDD for sure, new games take a lot of space these days.
Also the 1060 3Gb is a mistake, 4Gb should be the very minimum...
Had a chance to try that Red Devil and was dead quiet, I had to put my finger at the fan to make sure they were spinning, cutting myself in the process :D
I just build this rig, well under 2K and runs anything you throw at it..
And the best of all, its great fun overclocking.

CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz...
Generally if you overclock, Asrock is the top pick for me, also good price/features match in most of the cases.
Asus is the obvious top brand, but you also pay the brand behind it.
