WD Hard Drive at Best Buy...

Don't expect that trick to work.. you need your reciept to return the vid.. otherwise they just give you a store credit. And then you have to argue with a manager.. but if you're into that sorta thing, then by all means, knock yourself out :) The reason they take the price off the hard drive...

Whoa, wait a second. You seem to forget that there are many factors that come in to play when you are overclocking. 1st, the quality of the processor makes a big difference. 2nd, even if you have a critically acclaimed overclockers board, you can still get a board that isn't as overclocking...

Memory for my Pro 2

I would heartily reccommend Crucial Cas2 SDRAM, or Kingmax TinyBGA SDRAM. Either will be extremely stable, and either will run @ 2-2-2 for latency (even though the Kingmax is listed as 3-3-2).

ISO: Good motherboard, little hastle.

It's all about the features.. If you're looking for Raid capabilities, with the Abit KT7-Raid, if not then go save yourself some buckos with either the Asus A7V, or the KT7 w/no raid.. whichever is cheaper. If you can wait a couple o' weeks, get the boards with the KT133A chipset. Can't go...

I believe the YOUR MILEAGE MAY VARY phrase is appropriate here. I've had the same problem with my Abit KT7-Raid as you are raving about your MSI Board.

MSI Pro2A users: Why won't this board multiplier overclock??

I have had the SAME problem with TWO Abit KT7-RAID Boards!!! I have a 750 T-Bird and it won't go past 850... on the 9.0 multiplier it boots @ 700.. then goes up from there.. 9.5 gets me 750, 10 = 800, 10.5 = 850, 11 = No Boot, need to reset bios manually. WTF!!! Also, A friend of mine, who also...
