I'm curious about the overclocking process on non-K Skylake CPUs (eg. i3, i5 non-K, Pentiums, etc)
I heard that some main problems include:
1) CPU core temperature monitor has to be disabled...but later BIOS allowed you to read CPU package temperature.
2) C-states are disabled, so your cpu runs...
At least Haswell-level IPC performance with 8 core Zen priced at the level of a 4 core Haswell/Skylake (i7/i5), and 4 core Zen priced at the level of the 2 cores Haswell/Skylakes (i3s).
I was wondering if there was classifieds/buy/sell part of the forums? I'm looking to buy Haswell cpus and comp parts.
I'm on Tomshardware, Overclock.net, Techpowerup, etc and they all have classifieds. I can't seem to find the section here. :(
