Looking to purchase an Alienware M17x r2, quick question:

I'm thinking of bidding on this laptop on ebay. However, this laptop was first delivered to a Canadian customer. Are there any differences between U.S spec vs Canadian spec laptops besides the keyboard layout? Thanks

the t3500 only comes with xeon processors.

Are you sure? 6-core processors are offered for this system. I've looked on ebay and found one listed as "Hex core x5680".

I've been thinking of upgrading to a used Precision T3500. I've looked on wikipedia and pdf's and saw that it comes with either a Xeon 3500, 5500 or 5600 series. Which series is the best one? I'm assuming the 5600 series is the best one. And if so, anyone know which cpu in this series is the...

really? maybe its the video card. I have a quadro fx1700. it has a low wei score in windows 7. 4.9 for graphics and 5.9 for gaming graphics.

I'm still using a qx9650, but i'm thinking of upgrading to a core i7 because the the c2q can't handle 4k video streaming on youtube.

question about case being exposed to black (uv) light.

I was shining my black light all over my desktop and would like to know if anyone knows if it will cause damage or degradation of any kind to the case no matter how small. I was shining it for a few minutes. Thanks.
