I have the latest BIOS installed. BT Also I have the latest revision 7VAXP. This is happening with two systems. Putting it to AGP 4X does stabilize it. Still running older VIA drivers. Any noticable advantage to the new Hyperion drivers?

So that makes me wonder if it is a chipset problem (KT 400), an ATI 8X AGP implementation problem, or simply drivers...? Or worst case ... a combination of.

Radeon 9500 Pro Cards Scarce....

Upgraded from a 8500 LE 128 MB to the 9500 Pro. Very nice on the AA and AF even at high resolutions with little or no performance hit. Did have a conflict running it at 8X AGP with the Hyperion 4.45 Drivers. Would lock up on any D3D game after 5-20 minutes of game play. Gigabyte 7VAXP...

My vote for the Gigabyte board. After having several ASUS boards I can honestly say that the Gigabyte 7VAXP is as good in performance but at a lower cost.

HP ScanJet 3400c USB on Win2k slow.

Just curious, is it slow in BOTH of your USB ports? I had a problem with my BP6 USB in one of my USB ports. I had to RMA it.

MPEG AND AVI PROBLEMS UNDER WIN2k!

Are you using Windows Media Player to play these MPEGs/AVIs? Media player does seem to get corrupt and needs to be reloaded often. Try this, grab GDIVX and see if it still locks up. That should help troubleshoot this problem.

Good 3D Mark score ?

Microsoft Pulls IE5.5 Temporarily

bonkers325, Funny that you mention the IE 5.5 issue. I have IE 5.5 SP1 on both Win2K and WinME builds. And, on both builds I see the same problems, namely...disappearing status bar on the bottom. Other than that, they seem to run ok. Have you seen any problems?

KT7, K7T pro 2a, and A7V...tried them all and A7V didn't work out...
