I'm trying to run a fanless Ryzen 3 1200 mITX box and the temperatures are a bit too high for my taste, what would be the minimum SOC voltage to run with 2666MHz memory? Running default values, HwiNFO reports SoC Voltage (SVI2 TFN) = 0.938V, SoC Power is never below 9W

the Surface Go is a small milestone for Intel

This 4415Y Pentium is probably slower than their more recent Atom-based N5100 Pentium on similar TDP.

@The Stilt Will we get cTDP with Ryzen 2000 CPUs? What about user-configurable cTDP? The specs on AMD page seem to imply that the APUs will have cTDP.

How much area would have been necessary to include a single GDDR5 controller together with the dual channel DDR4 controllers to provide bandwidth for the GPU? I always imagined that would have been the best solution. Laptop manufacturers would have the flexibility to offer laptops with better...

Do you think we will finally see a 35W APU only laptop when AMD Raven Ridge launches?

But can a 35W APU really compete against a 15W CPU + 20W dGPU? GP108 is reaaaaaally power efficient and has more bandwidth with 64bit GDDR5.

Why would Intel disable HT on every single one of their 8th gen 4+2 dies, it doens't make sense to me. Will they sell two different types of i5, 4/8 and 6/6? That would also be confusing. I was sure they would have gone for Celeron 2/4, Pentium 4/4, i3 4/8, i5 6/6 and i7 6/12. Simple progression.
