Okay, so should I instead get the Inspiron 15 7000 for $800? Its specs are Memory: 8gb,2400MHz, DDR4, with up to 32gb of memory Hard Drive: 1tb 2.5 inch (5,400rpm), SSHD 8gb Video Card: Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050 with 4gb DDR5 It seems much better for only $100 more.

Im looking for a moderately priced gaming laptop anywhere betwwwn $500-$750. I found the MSI CX62, and there is one I am looking at It is the MSI 15.6" CX62 7QL-058 Intel Core i5 7th Gen 7200U (2.50 GHz) NVIDIA GeForce 940MX 8 GB Memory 1 TB, for $699 I'm looking at it to play most games made...

also, is there a difference between the regular 750 ti, the 750 Ti FTW, and the 750 Ti SC? Which of the three would be the best choice for me?

thank you for the update, i know my next question may sound dumb but trust me i know absolutely nothing about computers or gaming, I used this old one for work back in 2009: the gtx 750ti is a ddr5, does a ddr5 card run with ddr2 memory?

You say that the GTX 750Ti will be able to run games made before 2014 well WITH the additional 4gb's ddr2, the quad core, and the windows 7 64 bit, so how well will the XFX Radeon RX 460 do, with just additional ddr2 ram, compared to the Nvidia card plus everything else you recommended buying?
