Is Thermal Paste required?

Uh.... Antec is making thermal paste now? (Thought they made Cases, Power supplies & Fan accesories) Maybe Stevecox meant Arctic silver. Arctic Silver is well regarded. (I think they have a ceramique paste too). Haven't heard anything on "Antec" Silver.

Another CompUSA 6hr in-store sale

Curious...Anyone have any experience with the "Norwood" 17" LCD monitor ? Haven't heard of the brand before. Hmm, thinking about buying the maxtor drive for a Tivo upgrade. thanks Allisolm for the heads up.

Yay! I have a 21" CRT, Yay, Yay!

Cool setup Gomce. Ya know, there has to be a lot of large corporations upgrading their offices to LCD displays. Where do all those 21" used, but still fairly new monitors go? Anyone have any recommendations on websites/vendors that sell used monitors?

Help! XP quickies (Troubleshooting for Sister)

It's a Internal PCI modem. Hmmm, your XP doesn't have Read only set on all folders?.....me thinks the 12yo kid has been fluxin around with folder properties. Might interfere with driver installs.... if the OS can't well, write to the system folders. LOL. How the heck did this thang even...

which is the best PC3200DDR memory

Go Crucial or Corsair. Very dependable in my experience. Geil, OCZ, and Kingston mixed bag for me. Buffalo I haven't tested but have heard good things. Going to test it out in next Rig.

Wow, this can't be right. In comparison, the DVD recorder page at BestBuy lists the prices for the other various brands of DVD recorders at $449.00 - 1199.00 (higher end units look like they have HrdDrives as well) But still... Either this Lit-On unit is missing some key features the others...
