Pls. help in Q3 Arena re: Video Mode

I was playing Q3 Arena last night in full screen , 800x600 res . I kept alt-tabbing because I was messaging someone also on ICQ. AFter I alt-tabbed a few times, the Q3 screen went into windowed mode, now I play in a small window instead of the screen being fully occupied. Any ideas why this...

Hi. Can somebody suggest a good program that blocks adult related sites (porn,drugs, etc)? I checked out NetNanny but it isn't compatible with ICQ.. I looked at Cyberpatrol and Cybersitter but don't know if these are good. Does anyone know any other web site filter program? TIA

Hi. I'm having problems playing .avi files in Media Player (its the latest version of Media Player before WMP 7). It downloads the codecs but I keep getting the msg. 'Unable to find decompressor ' or something like that. Does anyone know what I should do? I have no problems playing .mpg or...

Sorry for the cross posting but... I want to record a phone call I'm going to make to a .wav file . How would I go about doing it? It doesn't really have to be a .wav file. Any sound format will do , as long as I can play it back again. TIA

Everquest or Asheron's Call?

I've played Asheron's Call during beta and also for a few months when it came out. I played on Darktide, a PK server. I had fun but eventually grew tired of it. My question is, is Everquest any better than AC? How come (it seems) that more people are hooked on EQ rather than AC ? If there are...

Just purchased an Athlon 900 Mhz.....

on UBid for $159... I'm currently eyeing a FIC AZ11 motherboard for $85.. Is this the best mobo to use w/ an Athlon for that price? I don't overclock or mess around w/ system settings that much. If not the AZ11, what other mobo would work great w/ my new CPU that's < $100 (preferably < $90)...
