    The only port you need to forward is 3074. The other ports aren't needed. I've never forwarded them on mine and my Xbox Live tests as Open NAT. Are you sure the Xbox has an IP of 192.168.1.11?

    You can certainly use it as a home router. However, you won't be able to advertise RIP or OSPF to Comcast, they won't respond. You'd be free to do it within your network however.

    100Mbps is fine for HD content. With my HDHomeRun tuner I can stream two shows at the same time, with dolby 5.1 audio, and it hits around 35-40Mbps. I can then stream a third, recorded, show over the same wire without issue. Blu-ray's max video bit rate is 40Mbps, still way within 100Mbps.

    Cisco UC500 -- Anyone using this or have any experience with it?

    I've worked on numerous UC520s of all flavors. Its basically CME with an AIM-CUE in an all-in-one package. The box runs IOS, has a console and the same CLI as every other Cisco box. It is limited in terms of some features, such as no dynamic routing. No interworking with CUCM, and a few others.
