I think most of the issues with dual ranked and/or non-b-die ram have been solved. got my friend a hynix 3200C16 ram and it works fine since AGESA 1.0.0.6, especially on upper mid range boards (£100 or more)
another note on dual ranked RAM is that they are faster than single ranked RAM...

Thanks for the confirmation. yes, that seems to be the issue, I am on RAID0, i think the drivers for AMD B350 raid is not baked into the installer yet. :( And the AHCI does not work for me because my GPT lists the drives as RAID and hence the installer skips it altogether.
Has anyone been able to install Ubuntu 17.x/openSUSE in MSI B350 board? I am trying to install, but it does not see any of my disk in RAID mode (fdisk -l returns no Sata drives), while in ADHI mode, it detects the SATA drives but not the partitions. :(

I also have a similar issue. If I activate raid and turn off serial/parallel com in the bios, I get a 10 sec long post on the RAID welcome page. If I press Ctrl+R to try and enter RAID, nothing happens.

Turn up the fan speed. Temps matter when it comes to what volts you need for a certain clock.
