one way might be helpful:
go on youtube and write cpu and gpu in search box for example: 2700x rtx2070 and there is a chance someone will show benchmark of this CPU and GPU paired
problem with multicore is not all games/programs are build too use all cores some still prefere single core performance and only now they are getting more optimised for more cores thanks too Ryzen who is offering CPUs with 8 cores at nice prices and forced intel into releasing 8 cores as well
true but every time you enter a webside it can collect data on what do you like and use it. Besides if WIN10 was spying on you or invade your privacy countries would ban or sanction Microsoft i know win10 collect data but i never experienced any unsettling stuff like ads in Windows explorer or...
well CPU were always good for average user, but as more demanding programs come so did better CPUs. Average user can keep CPU for more than 5 years and his CPU can still be good.
so its possible and not all people know how too spot spyware or read codes.
Look im not saying Linux is bad in any way its just this privacy paranoia with WIN10 that is bothering me.
I kinda do not understand all hate for WIN10 mine is 1year without reinstall and still working great. As for security where do you have guarantee WIN 7/8 and Linux are safer and do not spy on you?
Personaly i do not se the practical point of 9900K besides being show off.
Main selling CPU will be 9700K witch will compete with Ryzen 3700X, but 9900K will not be sensible buy becouse of P/P
Hardware wise its quite easy, but when we get too software it gets complicated you would need too teach software, games and OS too use this kind of CPU so its easier too do as things are done today.
I wonder what kind of cooling you will need for it to sustain 4.7ghz with all cores.
Otherwise im thrilled we have competition again so AMD and Intel are competing again so better products for Intel and AMD fans
I belive AMD will offer 12c/24t in 2019 as AM4 flagship but in other hand 16c/32t would be great if frequencies could go high enough too be good for gaming
But anyway 9900K will not be that better than 2700X what is more important question is how will Intel respond to Ryzen 3rd gen becouse by the look of it 9th gen will not be good response
Ryzen 2nd gen was released in April so we can expect similar with Ryzen 3rd gen.We can defenitly expect 3600,3600X,3700 and 3700X AMD only needs 200mhz clock increase plus alittle IPC increase too compete with 9th gen, but full extend of performance increase becouse of 7nm is unclear atm i read...
I wonder then how can AMD do it last year they were on 14nm now they are on 12nm and next year they will be on 7nm how can much smaller company like AMD do it while intel cannot do 10nm?
im all for it also but in my view up to 95W TDP it would turbo to as its writen on box for turbo, but if you have good cooling XFR should be able to push frequncy higher only limiting factors should be your cooling and/or voltages
