HELP! My AXIA a Dud?

i have a week 01/08 that runs fine a 1431 but only with max volts1.89

mother board poll

my brother is building a new system for a freind the strange thing he`s not interested in over clocking ...go figure so the question is which is the most stable mb with or without oc`ing features (1ghz tbird) abit gets my vote

yep just down loaded it and it shows 200fsb my abit kt7a setting`s are multiplier of 12 and 100/33 fsb there is another setting 133/33 tryed that yesterday and trashed a board the guy at the comp store gave me a new one, all the time giving me the eye, im afraid to try it again my chip id is...

shouldnt there be somthing in system info or wcpuid or sandra that will indacate that i have a 1.2 266 im finding the 1.2 part but not the 266 stuff is there any way to attach a pic to my post?

the reason i ask is.. i was looking for a 1.2 200 and the guy told me at the computer store that this chip would work fine with this mb, after installing it thing`s were going fine, and all of a suden it started locking up mult 12.5 and fsb 105 put every thing back and it runs fine (12x100) ive...

yes i recieved the hsf and other than you have to take the mother board out to install the beast (its big) im extreamly happy with there product 37C full load and with the rheostat i can dial the fan down and the temp only rises to 41C and its fairly quiet

could someone please post a link to the site that gives the information on identifying amd cpu`s i had it book marked once but wasnt able to recover it after a system crash (a little to much FSB)hehe :D

lock ups

well scan disc and defrag i run about every two or three day`s so we can eliminate that wd hard drive has been a dream so far.. although there has been a strange intermitent noise .... sound`s like a cricket with a muffler in just the last week hummm? "up time clock" give me a...

ive been running rc5 around the clock for 49 day`s yesterday i wanted to get some idle temp`s and after about 5 minutes my pc locked up did a hard start five minutes later same thing if i leave rc5 running no problem`s.. any idea`s???

Dust......what do you do about it?

i live in a old MI home and dust is a real problem i blow the dust out of my system fan`s once a week if there is a solution to this problem i would like to hear it:D

i ordered this hsf almost 4 week`s ago seem`s to take these guy`s a while to get there product to the customer (just recieved tracking number today) thay didnt have any problem`s taking my money 17day`s ago!! hope this fan is worth the wait any body else using this fan... good or bad??

has any one OCed one of these i just did a search at nec to get the lay out of the mother board no luck im using the old girl to crunch rc5 packet`s and she`s realy kicking butt 423 KKey per sec ive moved the system up grade jumper`s around and managed to get up to 200 mhz will she do any...

if you were to take a small amount of the face ,off a hedgehog (less metal faster heat transfer)?? would this increase the conductive properties

only tried it for a little while just before xmas got the idea from silver back this summer when my computer room reaches a higher temp(2nd floor) im going to switch the dryer vent hose over to the AC that should do a nice job.. :D
