Hey all, is anyone else experiencing their cpu frequency stuck at 3.7Ghz on all cores when using the Ryzen balanced power profile? If so has anyone found what is causing this?
I've got the latest chipset drivers, 1800x (stock) on a C6H Motherboard. Tried cpuz and aida, both are reporting the...
Without spending too much time on it I get the following:
CH6 1800x 4033MHz @ 1.42v
2x16GB G-Skill cl14 2988MHz @ 1.35v
Strangely I get different voltage readings in HWinfo and HW monitor
HWmonitor reads it as 1.417 going up to 1.439 under load at times based on MB sensor
HWinfo 1.375 going...
For anyone using the C6H I've found that sonic studio /radar has a problem that causes crackling/popping in audio. If you uninstall it your sound will be much better.
Is anyone with a C6H motherboard able to test their audio output using 600 ohm impedance headphones? I'm getting a lot of popping on mine and wondering if this is a hardware fault or something that just happens when amplification is set to extreme. I get the popping on both front and read...
My full tower just wasn't big enough anymore so I got a Core X9 having said that getting that radiator in was surprisingly tricky. I'll likely have to get a thinner one when I want to cool my GPU.
It's an 1800X. That GPU is actually going to swap places with the 980ti in my 3930k PC once this...
Right...
Can't get my memory above 2666MHz for now and a bit disappointed with the temps I'm getting (55 degrees C in BIOS) considering it on custom water with a 6cm deep 480mm radiator. Not too sure that reading is correct.
Finally finished building.
Tried to boot... QCODE 48...Not listed in manual.
Tried bios flashback, didn't do anything.
Several reboots later suddenly started to work. This is so exciting
You beat me to it!
For those updating to that one Elmor also confirmed to me that the 16GB double sided version of the 3200 CL14 G.Skill Trident-Z should also work at 3200MHz now.
I used to think so too however googling this gives me enough results to cause me to worry :

Just spent quite a lot on this cooling...
Believe it or not... distilled water(UK). Everywhere here just has de-ionised water.
You read my mind though, my water arrives tomorrow and a silver coil is already on it's way to me in the post! ;)
Seeing as I couldn't use the system anyway I took the opportunity to send back my 4 stick kit...
That's was my plan B, unfortunately I couldn't get any from any of the stores where I live. I've had to order some in.
Bit annoying still that they sell a complete kit but fail to include the necessary amount of coolant. I mean I'm literally short half of what I need. After I realised that I...
No, the motherboard is sold as wi-fi ready. It doesn't include the wi-fi card. Had to order a separate card, antennae and cables.
I just can't understand why they would make it all so inaccessible if they intend for the end user to be able to add this in. It's like putting "armor" over your PCI...
So I have everything bar two pigtail cables to connect the m.2 wifi module on my Crosshair to the external antennae. Annoyingly these cables will prevent me from completing my build as "armor" on the motherboard has to be removed to get access to the wifi module, and the "armor" can only be...
I see that G.Skill have announced Flare X memory kits that work at 3200 14-14-14-34 with all four slots populated and am now wondering is there is anything actually physically different about this product than the 3200 14-14-14-34 Trident-Z I have. Not sure if I should return the Trident memory...
Finally got my Crosshair Mobo, now just waiting on the case, cpu and a replacement for the faulty quick disconnect valve I was sent. Should have everything by Tuesday now.
These parts are like gold dust in the UK
So frustrated at getting jerked around by Scan in the UK. Every day the Motherboard and CPU's were meant to be coming in, then the date would slip. Latest was that the motherboards were due in on Monday and the CPU's on the 16th!
Cancelled my order with them and hunted down two separate...
Although my 3930k rig is still performing perfectly well, I've been resisting the upgrade itch for years now and so have pre-ordered the following, if the reviews are bad I can always return withing 14 days :D
CPU:1800X
MB: Fatal1ty X370 Professional Gaming
RAM: G.Skill Trident Z 3200 4 x 8GB...
