And we should fire the kit we already have? I mean, my trident z have indeed xmp profile, but if amd allow us to manualy set the subtiming there is no reason why they will not run at full speed. Right?

I took a 16x2 gb trident z months ago when the price was lower. Now i discovered that if i want to use my kit with rizen i have to set at 2666 in the best scenario. Amd as bring a cpu ram dependant and now i have to downgrade from 3200 to 2660 or lower? Madness

So good, but so ironic that it is very difficult to reach 3200 mhz on memory and almost impossibile to go higher, non to mantion that we are talking about 16 gb kit because if you have 32 gb kit (16x2 also worst) you can trow it in the garbage. I understand who camplain rizen in game, because a...

I cant see why a pair of ram should run slower, a lot slower, ther their spec. The same dual rank kit is fully compatible whit intel and also have no problem to run higher! This is a duble fault by amd, creating a heavy ram dependant architecture whit a crappy ram compatibility. I realy would...

Yea, sadly, ryzen ram support is scandalous. I bought time ago 2 x16 tridend Z cas 15 3200 mhz, thinking to buy a good kit, only to discover today that this f**** cpu is not compatible whit dual rank memory. For me it s pure madness.

they assumed this obderving the abnormous jump in latency when the accessses grow larger then 8 MB right? If the latency go sky-level mean there is an acces on the ram. The test is empiric so is it possible to assume it 's 100% correct?

so the problems may begin at the level of the last 2 points, right? The More requests misses and fall back to L3 or ram level, the more cycles are lost waiting for data because the fabric bandwidth is shared between all the requests.
