Don't waste your money on it you'll basicly have the same card. If money is a problem look at a GF3Ti200 or if you can go a little higher go with a GF4Ti4200. The GF4MXs arent DX8 cards and have features missing that GF3 or full GF4 cards have.
Just built an XP1700+ on an Abit KA7 Raid and it did 1612 first try IIRC I haven't unlocked it yet I built to for my neighbor and he wanted to get it going. I'll unlock it at a later date.
If you do a Duron or Tbird use a Abit KT7 its by far the best and easyiest board to setup and OC with.
<<<Also, every Duron, from 600 to 750 can get to 1.0Ghz???>>>
I dont know about that but a buttload make it there, my 700 made it to 1050. I thinl most unlocked Durons make it to 950 or so...
Thats not the question. What if I said my Duron was running at 1250MHz would you believe me? If I had that cert I would have proof that I had what I said I had. Plus it will stress the processor to see if it will run at that clock speed...

Well let me tell you as far as I'm concerned the Abit KT7 is the best OCing board on the market right now. My Duron 700@1050 is a strong runner but I would get a Tbird right now for the price differance. The KT7 is a piece of cake to OC...

Never heard of Blue Tbirds coming from Austin. I heard there was Durons that were blue though. Well what I ment was a copper Tbird no matter what color it is...
Thanks Anyway

Here is a Stabality test that will give you a cert that proves what your OC is. It has to be run for 12 hrs to get the cert. Have seen alot of guys say that they have something an turned out to be wishfull thinking. My Duron 700 passed at 1032. This is an updated one from what I used though I...
Is there a way to get a Blue core Tbird say 800-900 without having to pay extra for it? Anyone know a business that sells them at pricewatch prices? Went to a computer show and none was to be found there, all green.

Austin? You know someone down there at AMD? My Duron 700 is at 1050 at 1.85v on an Abit KT7. Have you ran a stabality test on it yet. There is one at Tweakfiles that runs for 12 hrs and gives you a Cert. that proves you have what you have. I use to hang over at Tom's Hardware and it was a must...
I have a Duron 700@1050 and am looking for a good Tbird to OC. Right now a Tbird is a better bet cause there isn't that much differance in price...

I unlocked L1 & L7
Abit KT7
Coolmaster HS&Fan
I was the first to hit the GHz mark with the Duron and have a Stabality Cert at 1032MHz which has to be run for 12 hrs to pass. Tweakfiles has the program.
