@ Sciff, So you are saying skip loading the driver all that and run no microcode? Sorry for my confusion... I have stripped the code from my motherboard, system not finished yet though. Trying to figure this out in advance. Hoping to replicate what you are doing here with your E5-2696 V3 : )

Hi Sciff, thanks for the reply, I have the 2683 V3 but thinking of possibly going for the 2696 V3 OEM instead, want this board for the thunderbolt 3 card for low latency audio connection. : ) I did a search and found someone on the forum with success on this board! Sent him a PM.
