Just found out the issue, a vrm on his 290x blew up, and burnt itself and part of the board around it to ash He is looking into buying a second one for under 150$ and possibly buying vega when it comes out, or using my old 5770 as a hold over till vega comes out. either way, feel a bit sorry...

It has a button on it for clearing it, able to tell me how those usually work? The bios is one of the things that if I can avoid it I never touch it because of so many horrible experiences back in the 90s.

Ok, I have 2 windows 7 machines, and I have largely been unsuccessful getting them to network natively. Is there a simple program I can install and feed it programs so it will go from one to the other? It would be really nice to be able to not rip one computer apart to get the files on the other.

more meant that chrome sees I have no bookmarks and no extensions and thinks that is the way I want it so it scrubs everything there already.

Honestly would be perfectly happy with 3.6 as I was planning on getting a 1800x till reviews came out and showed 1700's largely hit the same speed with the same bottlenecks just slightly higher voltages.

Ok, thinking about it a bit, i'm leaning toward the nvme samsung 960 evo 500gb My main thought on it is I currently have a 120gb drive, using it just as boot, I can't imagine using more then 150gb. Then using it as a game game drive on the side, I have 350gb to play with likely smoosh that down...

Yea, was told never to do that because bricking chance is higher, all honesty touching the bios always made me nervous on my current computer and its predecessor, because if something goes wrong and it bricks that it, I have an absolute nightmare of a time dealing with it, possibly months...
