Still running on that 4GB stick of RAM. Upgraded my pc from phenom II X4 840 to Ryzen 5 2600 with 16GB ram and RX580 8GB. Son is now almost 10 and hogging my computer again, even though I gave him the RX460 from my old machine. I am planning to get 16GB RAM for him and hopefully he will stop...
Update: Currently running memtest86 14 errors found in test 6 on pass 1 seems to be replacing the third to last F with 7 at some addresses. Going to replace that stick and rerun memtest86. By the way I have no intention of putting a discrete GPU in this machine, ok now up to 20 errors
Still crashing after the audio driver check. I have another FM2 system that I will be taking home to do detailed troubleshooting. I suspect it is probably a bad motherboard but we shall see. One thing I know is I am done with MINI-ITX builds.
Memory was originally at its rated 1600. I down clocked it to 1333 and the errors seemed to lessen. When it started crashing again I down clocked to 1066. I will check out the audio drivers when I get home
