i agree with splice, get a router and it will save you money in the long run. I have a Netgear router with works really well. I also have three computers and always have access to the internet from any computer.
all you need is to buy one netgear r314 router, two network cards and cat5 cable. Once you have these just follow the instructions from the router manual.

After reading all the suggestion on a quiet fan i decided to go with the Sanyo Denki 60mm 3800 RPM 18.7cfm 28dBA fan. Does anyone know where is the cheapest place to get it. The one place i found them at would cost $17.5 shipped. Anyone else know of a cheaper place. thanks in advance.

ok..i had the same problem with my logitech mouseman wheel when i used their drivers. DON't use their drivers, instead, use microsofts intellimouse drivers and set the buttons to what u like. hope this helps.
to answer your question. use a dos boot disk and type fdisk to delete all partions then you need to create the number of partition you want. finally format each partition then install your os.
i am not sure if win98 have internet sharing built in but i know win98se have it. You can also use another program such as winroute which works pretty good. You just have to follow the instructions to set it up.
