Well i want to know some ms dos commands because my system crashed and when you insert the windows xp cd it tells you do repair it, and when i go to the repair option all it does is take you to dos. What commands can you use to fix your comp that cant even get to the desktop?
Everytime I try to install windows xp on my system it doesnt work. Sometimes it wont even pick up the hard drive. When it does I succesfully install it but then i get a blue screen when its loading! Anyone know whats causing this or how i can fix it?

Well ok i bought a laptop off the "street" and when i boot it up it asks for a password on the desktop. Is there anyway i can remove this? I know theres a way for a normal comp but i just dont know about laptop. Any suggestions will help. Thanks
