Hah, so you prefer the shoot first ask questions later strategy...Easy to find faults in others but difficult to see them in yourself...
In any case, I am not a big fan of Air France. From Chicago, United's probably the best bet. They are around 550+ with tax roundtrip last I checked...
Hi guys, I am considering building a new machine which I can use for a/v editing, gaming, and with good linux driver support so I can dual boot. Here is what I have come up with and I'd like to keep the cost below 2k. The cuda's will be raided. Not interested in SLI as I don't game enough to...
Ha! They better hold it for me more then a couple hours, I've been at work all day so if they did call I wasn't there. The guy who told me they would call only lives 5 houses down, I'll have something to say to him if they don't honor the raincheck.
This drive is definitely better then the BTC and it is fast for 8x burning but I would still get a NEC at this point considering the negliable price difference and you are already guaranteed dvd-r at 8x whereas the NU does not have 8x dvd-r and the dual firmware is long way from being considered...
Has OM honored anyone's raincheck yet? They wouldn't give me an ETA on when they will be available. I was thinking about going back tomorrow and seeing what they say.
I don't know about you guys but I can't stand burning media at 2.4x. I try to stick to 6x or 8x depending on which media I'm using. I got a 25 pack of those khypermedias a while back which were 2.4x CMC discs and I don't think I will ever use them. Anyways, still a great deal considering I...
Hey, sorry to bother you but I'm having some difficulties getting multiple computers to work with the DWL-2000AP. I got it working with the netgear using the Wireless Client mode but only one computer that's connect to the switch which connects to DWL-2000AP works. The other one doesn't work...
Which mode did you have the DWL-2000AP in? I don't know what I'm doing wrong but it doesn't seem to want to work for me. How did you configure yours?
Thanks
Hi guys, I need to setup a wireless network to use at home with cable modem. The modem will be in a room on the first floor and the wireless router will be connected to it. I need to connect a computer in the room right able the room with the router. I plan on just using a trendware or...
Yes I have it on my m7ncd pro. Though unless you have some space between the egde of the board and the psu, the 92mm fan may or may not fit. On mine it fits but I'm using an 80mm fan since it seems to cool this HSF better. The deadzone is probably too big on the 92mm fan to get enough air to...
I got my order today. I tried using my zalman 92mm quiet fan but it just doesn't have enough power to cool the slk-900-a when the cpu is at 100% use. When running prime95, I got 60C which is hot as heck. I took it out and put the smart fan 2 I got on and it is able to pump enough air to keep...
I called them today to check on my order. It took two calls before they answered but they were nice and told me it shipped on monday using priority mail. I'm just disappointed it still hasn't arrived since I usually get within 2 or 3 days using priority mail. The guy on the phone said it will...
I have not had problems with SVC in the past but if they do screw up, be nice about it. Email them and go ahead and add a resellerrating which reflects their screw up and keep the resellerrating updated. Once they fix your problem, let people on resellerrating know by updating your review...
Well, I doubt they are doing it on purpose. When the ZM-F2 was first released, it was rated at 38cfm in silent mode, same thing happened with the ZM-F1 which was rated at 26cfm in silent mode but Zalman later changed the specifications and since most people only put the...
Hey guys, I have the ZM-1, ZM-2, and a Panaflo M1A 80mm. I would say the Zalman's aren't that bad. They are pretty quiet to me. My AMD Stock HSF is what I hear. I have two ZM-1's and one ZM-2 in my case and I can't hear anything besides the 60mm fan on the hs and the powersupply fan when it...
For those of you who had artifacts and etc, did you try to underclock it slightly to see if it works stable at a slightly lower clock speed? It's better to have 8 pipes at a lower clock then to have 4 at a slightly higher clock. Give it a shot.
Best of luck.
Never had any issues with newegg refurbs. Every one of them have worked so far. Though I cannot comment on this particular refurb product. Hope they have better quality control then that.
I don't know if I will buy from these guys again. They don't answer the phone and they have yet to respond to my email about the missing part from the order I received. I will let you know how it goes but if you don't want to hassle with receiving incomplete orders and non existent customer...
Yea got in on this back in June but I wish I had wait a little to get in on that Denon for $200 from 6th AVE. Oh well, still a great receiver. I don't see the sr600 at CC online but $299 for a sr600 is awesome.
Um, 100mb/s is still pretty damn fast compared to 11mb/s with USB 1.1. Heck, most people won't even have harddrives that can handle sustained 100mb/s transfer rates. So stop trying to ruin this for people who don't really need 400mb/s.
I got in on these when they were at $78 shipped back in May(I think). If they ever go back down, I will grab another but for the time being, they are not affordable for me.
I got a Zalman 80mm case fan instead. The L1A panaflos just don't pump out enough air in my opinion. I have a set of M1A's and they are not as quiet as I'd like them to be so hopefully the Zalman will work for me. I also jumped on their sale on rounded IDE cables and the Zalman Northbridge...
K7S5A is one of the most stable boards. I don't know what some of you guys are smoking but I suggest you look for the fault in one of your other components. Get a "decent" power supply and RAM and you won't have any issues. Hence, Crucial or other quality RAM(doesn't have to be the fastest or...
What I want to know is why all these nf2 boards are getting so cheap all of a sudden. I think they are anticipating for the release of the desktop 64-bit processor next month. I'm not entirely sure but that's how it looks from here. Still at $52 after shipping and rebate, it sounds like a...
Hm, the deal may have been dead on Sunday but I got mine on Tuesday from CC. I guess the CC guy and I didn't notice the dates :) Oops! I got lucky. Good luck next time to those that didn't get in on it.
Good deal for fans but I for one like to know what the noise and cfm are before I buy.
I think the quietest fan to cfm ratio goes to Vantec Stealth fans for 80mm size. 21dBa at 27CFM which is better then Panaflo's 20dBa at 24cfm. As far as I can tell, Vantec Stealth's at 92mm just as quiet...
I for one somewhat agree with the person recommending a cheap case + higher quality PSU but I think the PC and Power cooling PSUs are very overpriced. You can get some decent priced PSUs which are awesome in my opinion. I would recommend Newegg's Maxtop cases without PSU, I got the one with a...
