Unable to View websites, but can Logon to network

I have AT&T broadband, I can logon to their network but can't view any websites. previously I had cable and didn't have to do w/ the logon crap, when i plug in my nic into the modem, connecion works, no need to logon or whatever and i'd get internet connection and can view sites or whatever...

Probs w/ Verifying DMI Pool Data during bootup

can you tell me where i'd go to do fdisk or fix mbr cuz fdisk is not recognizing it (w/ plain boot cd) and i can't boot off of xp installtion cd, i tried this cd on a working system w/o problems

Probs w/ Verifying DMI Pool Data during bootup

the only cd that can be recognized is a plain boot cd, windows setup cd cna't be recognzied, when booting up w/ boot up cd, it leads me to dos, except that hd can not be found, fdisk shows a hd of the size of 60g, except mine is 160g, the hd posts during boot.

never was able to get to win xp screen. i'm thinking boot sector is corrupt, the hard is brand new just installed a wk ago. only see the dmi pool data message. mSFT's site of that error is kinda useless, just says go contact ur manufacturer... the issue w/ different hard disk size shown during...

I was do'n defrag on my hd, when all of a sudden it froze, leaving me w/ no choice but to hit reset, when i rebooted the computer, i'm at the screen where XP tries to verify DMI pool data and hangs there, i've left it on for good 15 min w/ nothing happening. It detects the hard drive although...

Installed Kazaa on new OS can't connect??

REcently had to format hd, and install fresh copy of kazaa lite from previously saved file, i can't seem to connect onto their servers no more what happened? :( it was working before the format and my friends have no probs using it..the official site seems to have changed too. what happened can...

Won't boot up having probs detecting hDs

Update by some miracle, i was able to back up my stuff onto DVDs. :) I first formated the small hd of 40G (still have probs w/ that, showing 2 partitions one 8mb w/ rest 39.x gigs) no clue why, even used partition magic on it and still like but, don't care. i kept on trying to install new copy...

still no go, i don't see anything after "go into Computer Management > Disk Management and see if the drive is listed in Disk Management. " any suggestions :( it does post though

i can see the 'bad hd' in dos although not the entire 120. the hd is shown during postlike, i will try what you suggested when i go home tonight. **crosses fingers** thanks

my view. if we decrease the total debt, our annual interest payment would be lower, in effect ahve more doh to go around for other programs. if gov't default on the debt, chaos. banking system gets F'd. nobody would lend money for gov't operation, gov't could print more money, this means...

When to use First Class and when to use Priority?

I need help w/ my Sandisk 128 mb smartmedia card and reader

i am unable to store more than 114 (jpgs) files on the card for some reason. i have only like 11mb on it is this a known prob?? any patches? none that i could find at sandisk.com i am using win 98 using also sandisk's reader. i did this by dragging all of my jpg on hd (C) to the memory card...

i honestly can't tell the difference between my p4 1.7ghz box and my duron 700
